🚨 NHS England director ADMITS there are NO jobs in the NHS for GPs completing training🚨

The government’s strategic plan to destroy primary care is working:

❌ >£660,000,000 funding to GP practices has been cut in the last 5 yrs

❌ The funding given (to help practices address the GP shortage) permits practices to employ almost ANY other role who are NOT a GP?!

All of this….yet RADIO SILENCE from the RCGP!

Jobs requiring high levels of skill sets to keep the public safe

@DrDomPimenta The exposure to the rare disease with vary - GPs will see fewer , more in DGH clinics , tertiary centre specialists many more. If we don’t know about them we can’t suspect the diagnosis and make a referral…

No no no. A UK medical degree is academically intense & rightly arduous. Compressing the 5 or 6 years it takes into 4 will not make better doctors. Which 20% of the body would you like to ignore, @RishiSunak? Already there is so much we could be covering in better depth 🤷‍♀️

Bexhill is the worst hit, with around 6 hours of sewage, though that one seems to ongoing.
