@billkinkle I'm not even sure what the point of them doing it is. The doctor told me it looked sketchy, and I was honest and said I'm struggling financially so I guess punishment for being poor?

@billkinkle I recently lost 7 of my subs because I had three delayed appointments in a row (it's $100 and change each month out of pocket, and I simply couldn't afford it). This is despite having 4 years of near flawless attendance. Thank god I take a fraction of what they prescribe.

@dcnoel43 @DMAnews1 Dude no one is enabling. Addicts are going to use regardless. They'll share needles (which spreads diseases), be at greater risk of OD and more likely to drop their used needles in public. That's what getting rid of harm reduction services does.

@barbzee39 @DMAnews1 People are going to use whether or not you provide safe injection sites. And if you get rid of them they'll share needles, leave needles in public places and be at higher risk of OD'ing and dying. It literally is a win for everyone to have them.

@jpoliveras @0xKiruse @TheJackForge What dude? You are assuming a lot. You can be passionate about coding whilst also being hopeful that it provides a better life for you. We are talking about a job here, not building passion projects. People want and deserve to be paid for their skills and time.

Sucks as I put a ton of time and effort into it, and right as I was feeling comfortable enough to job search it quickly became evident that a well paying job was almost impossible.
