@mybmcWardFN , great work but remove the same 20 feet both side on Sewri Chembur’s road encroachment marked in red and on both side , ever day 2 km takes 45 min both side for more then month ,public doesn’t see any improvement on this road @mieknathshinde @nitin_gadkari @AshwiniBhide

Wadala East has become a bottleneck for major regional transit projects without getting the necessary localised road widening or feeder planning to support it.​

With the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL / Atal Setu) landing in Sewri, a massive chunk of airport-bound commuters from South/Central Mumbai heading to Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) funnel straight through narrow arterial stretches like Arun Vaidya Marg and Sewri-Wadala road.

As international flights transition to NMIA from Oct 1, the influx of airport traffic, taxis, and freight vehicles will overwhelm suburban residential corridors that were never engineered for expressway-level loads.​

Major projects are connected at a macro level, but arterial feeder roads in residential zones are completely neglected.​ Wadala East is not built to act as a highway access dump for airport commuters.

We need urgent traffic management, road upgrades, and dedicated bypass corridors before local mobility collapses completely.@mumbaimatterz @MTPHereToHelp @mybmc @AshwiniBhide

One of the bridges under freeway has become weak and not suitable for heavy vehicles. Duly trucks are getting diverted through Barkat Ali wadala e resulting in heavy traffic. Pls help solve and share CLOS dates it takes 45 min for 1 km travel

The Wadala exit ramp off the Eastern Freeway from South Mumbai resembles the surface of the moon! 🌒 A complete car killer despite the taxes we pay. @MMRDAOfficial + @mybmc pls urgently take note.

After you somehow exit and turn towards Barkat Ali Naka on the Sewri-Chembur Road, double-parked cars/cabs on BOTH sides make commuting a nightmare and access to Dosti Acres & Dosti Eastern Bay nearly impossible.
@MTPHereToHelp, a humble request to please act ASAP! A nightmare for 2000 + residents!
