@smithsmm@jsgteaching I wonder how many more teachers will leave as, in my searching, the Ofsted window is now hell. Much, much more about showing you're progressing rather than looking at the progress without seeing marking. The only way we will improve is to see the progress without seeing the pen.
@MrBoothY6 Thank you for sharing your stuff so well. I went on a Raspberry Pi course once and they said that all stuff should be shared free- to enable us all to empower. I agree.
@Tickraylor2013@DeputyGrocott We use these but no extra time. They're laborious. However, they're really useful if I'm honest. Although (can you see I'm on the fence), I can tell you where their writing is- just by reading it.
The problem with a lengthy observation is not (primarily) its stressful nature.
It’s the extreme professional distrust that underpins it.
‘Do what you normally do- we’re not trying to catch you out’ simply cannot apply in this circumstance.

@PieCorbett@TTRadioOfficial I agree. If you're following a chosen selection of children and their progress, provision etc. If you always end up in one class to observe, surely you've mapped the school provision wrong and aren't seeing the 'whole' picture of that school?
Any decent maths primary sessions around for somebody who loves maths but wants to get a little more passion in their practice? Maybe learning from a guru? Outdoor focus or small steps? Thanks everyone.
