- There are many places worldwide where you can claim your baby for the entire tax year prior to birth.

See Daniel K William's book Defenders of the Unborn about the progressive / Democrat prolife movement before Roe was legalized. They were fighting for daycare and parental leave way back then.

There are tons of pregnancy and parenting resources out there, including some that are federally operated. Not enough that progressive changes don't need to be made in the long-term but enough for now.

Most women don't "choose" abortion. They have no other choice. We need free contraception, sterilization for any age, living wage, national daycare, healthcare, communal supports, parental leave & job security.

Majority = elective abortions - by definition optional. Both mother & child can live without it.

Whether a secular case case stands of falls depends on the ethical strength of the argument.
