The conviction of a narcissist/psychopath that their lies are the truth is incredibly compelling.
A study in 2009 demonstrated that judges were more convinced of the lies of diagnosed psychopaths than they were of non-psychopaths telling the truth.

have undertaken the most comprehensive deep dive into all the fields of study researching people who actively violate social norms & harm & disadvantage others by conscious choice.
This included all the key data on narcissism, psychopaths, cult leaders, toxic leadership, child sex abuse in religion, dark triad, sadism, coercive control in domestic violence, human trafficking, child prostitution, terrorism and so on.
These research areas rarely liaise with each other let alone read each other’s work yet they are all studying the same behaviours.
It took me five years full-time.
I also undertook the first research in the world with expert practitioners working long-term with human predators/dark personalities outside of prison & their victims, those working as teachers, entrepreneurs, academics, lawyers, doctors, the military, CEOs, religious leaders, mental health professionals etc.
I included experts working in forensic contexts such as the FBI profiler who has caught the highest number of serial killers.
I included some of the top academics in the world in these fields in my research too.
I have subsequently created the most accurate, nuanced representation of dark personalities/human predators in existence.
This model, the Persistent Predatory Personality model, includes the shared attributes & tactics human predators commonly use to destroy others and avoid accountability.
My work makes it much easier to ‘see’ dark personalities/human predators than ever before.

It’s hard to get others to understand how a triggering event on people who have been targeted by predators (narcissists, psychopaths) has such an extreme impact on our minds and bodies, even once the triggering event is clarified or sorted out.
People who have not been targeted would find it difficult to understand.
For those whom have been targeted, triggering is like the emotional and bodily responses of being in front of a firing squad.
The depth, breadth, relentlessness and boundarylessness of the harm imposed by human predators on their targets is extreme and our reactions when we are triggered generate responses that reflect this. Triggering can last for minutes, hours days or even weeks. Be gentle on yourself if you are triggered. The response is completely understandable.
