Using advanced miniscope technology to record calcium signals, this team is uncovering new insights into how the brain processes spatial and olfactory information.
Key Finding:
“It’s possible to decode the trajectory of a mouse navigating an odor plume based on neuronal ensemble calcium signals in dorsal CA1,” the researcher shares.

The Centre notifies the Governing Board of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) to be presided over by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India (@PMOIndia), according to the gazette notification dated June 29, 2024. The Centre also notifies the formulation of an Executive Council for the ANRF, which will be chaired by the @PrinSciAdvGoI.
The 15-member Governing Board of the ANRF will have the Hon'ble Prime Minister (@PMOIndia) as its President, and the Hon’ble Ministers of Science and Technology and Education (@EduMinOfIndia) as its two Vice-Presidents. Other members will include the Secretaries to the Departments of Science and Technology (@IndiaDST), Scientific and Industrial Research (@CSIR_IND), Biotechnology (@DBTIndia), and Higher Education (@EduMinOfIndia); the Member for S&T at @NITIAayog ; and the @PrinSciAdvGoI.
Additionally, Dr. Manjul Bhargava, Professor, @Princeton ; Dr. Romesh T. Wadhwani, Chairperson, Symphony Technology Group; Dr. Raghuvendra Tanwar, Chair, @ICHRMOE_1972; Dr. Jayaram N.
