હાર્દિક જોષી એક એવા સરકારી અધિકારી જેઓ દિવસ દરમિયાન કચેરીનું કામ પૂરુ કરે ને સાંજના છથી નવ, ક્યારેક દસ વાગ્યા સુધી એમના કાર્યક્ષેત્રના ગામડાંમાં ફરતા જોવા મળે. તેઓ લોકો વચ્ચે જાય, તેમની પરિસ્થિતિ જુએ ને જે સમસ્યા નજરે પડે તેના ઉકેલ માટે પ્રયત્ન કરે.

આપણે ત્યાં કહેવત છે ફરે એ ચરે ને બાંધ્યો ભૂખે મરે. સરકારી કચેરીમાં બેઠેલા કર્મચારી પણ એમના વિસ્તારમાં ફરે તો એમને પણ લોકોની સાચી સમસ્યાનો ખ્યાલ આવે. રાજાઓ પોતાના મહેલમાંથી બહાર નીકળી પ્રજા વચ્ચે જતા ત્યારે રાજ્યની વાસ્તવિક સ્થિતિનો ખ્યાલ આવતો. આજના લોકશાહી તંત્રમાં પણ અધિકારીઓ જો ગામડાં સુધી પહોંચે, લોકો વચ્ચે બેસે ને તેમની આંખે તેમની જિંદગી, તેમની હાડમારી જુએ ને સ્થિતિ સમજવા કોશીશ કરે તો અનેક સમસ્યાઓનો ઉકેલ આવી જાય.

પંચમહાલના મોરવાહડફ તાલુકામાં તેમનું પોસ્ટિંગ થયું કે એમણે સૌથી પહેલાં અંત્યોદય રેશનકાર્ડની સ્થિતિ તપાસી. લાયકાત વગરના લોકો પાસે અંત્યોદય રેશનકાર્ડ હોય તો એવા લોકોના નામ એમાંથી દૂર કર્યા ને નિરાધાર, વિધવા, ત્યક્તા એક રીતે કહીએ તો જેને બે છેડા ભેગા કરવા મુશ્કેલ એવા ખરેખર જરૂરિયાતમંદ પરિવારોને આ રેશનકાર્ડ મળે તેવું અભિયાન હાથ ધર્યું. જરૃરિયતામંદ અનેક પરિવારો સુધી હાર્દિકભાઈ પહોંચ્યા છે. તેમની ઉંમર હજુ નાની છે એટલે આગળ ઘણું કામ કરી શકવાની લાંબી કારકિર્દી તેમની સામે છે. એ માણસને લાભાર્થી તરીકે જોવા કરતા તેને માણસ તરીકે જોવાનું કરે છે, જે બહુ નોખુ છે.

તેમની ગ્રામસભાઓ પણ આ જ વિચારને આગળ વધારે. જ્યાં કોઈ પરિવારનું ઘર નથી, ત્યાં સરપંચની જવાબદારી શું છે? ગામના વંચિત પરિવારો સુધી યોજનાઓ કેમ નથી પહોંચી? ક્યાં સ્થાનિક તંત્રની ભૂમિકા હોવી જોઈએ ને તે નિભાવવામાં ક્યાં કચાસ રહી તે સમજી ટકોરની સાથે સાથે એ કડક થતા પણ દેખાય છે.

આપણે ઘણી વાર સરકારી તંત્રની જડતા, લાલફિતાશાહી ને નિષ્ક્રિયતાની ફરિયાદ કરીએ.  પણ તંત્રમાં બેઠેલા આવા સંવેદનશીલ અધિકારીને જોઈએ ત્યારે જરાક રાહત લાગે ને બધુ ખરાબ નથી એવું પણ થાય.

વહીવટીતંત્રમાં બેઠેલો એક સંવેદનશીલ માણસ પોતાની જવાબદારી નિષ્ઠાપૂર્વક નિભાવે ત્યારે એ વ્યક્તિ આડકતરી રીતે આખી વ્યવસ્થાને ગતિ આપવાનું કરતાનું જણાય. કોઈને રેશનકાર્ડ આપવાથી એ પરિવારની રસોઈની ચિંતા હળવી થાય. કોઈને ઘર મળે એવા પ્રયત્નો થાય તો એ પરિવારને સુરક્ષા મળે ને આ બધા કાર્યમાં સ્થાનિક લોકોને જોડવાથી સમાજની જવાબદારી ઊભી થાય ને સૌથી અગત્યનું સરપંચને મીઠી ટકોર કરે તો એનાથી ગામની વ્યવસ્થા સુધારવાની શક્યતાઓ ઊભી થાય. તંત્રમાં બેઠેલો દરેક અધિકારી આ ભાવથી વિચારવાનું શરૃ કરે તો દેશની સકલ સુરત બેઉ બદલાઈ જાય.

હાર્દિકભાઈની ગાડીમાં એક નાની દુનિયા જોવા મળે. ગાડીની પાછળની બાજુમાં નોટબુક, પેન્સિલ, કમ્પાસ, નવા કપડાં જેવી વસ્તુઓ ભરેલી હોય. રસ્તામાં કે ગામમાં કોઈ જરૂરિયાતમંદ પરિવાર મળે તો તેમને જે યોગ્ય લાગે તે વસ્તુ આપી દેવાની. એમની કચેરીમાં આવેલા માણસની સ્થિતિ જોઈને ક્યારેક તો એને ઘરે જવા ભાડાના પૈસા આપી દેવાનું તો ક્યારેક ઘરે અનાજ છે એવો પ્રશ્ન પુછી ને સામેનો માણસ જવાબ આપવામાં થોથવાય તો તુરત એને એક ચીઠ્ઠી લખી એમણે નક્કી કરેલા એક દુકાનદાર પાસે મોકલી દે ને એ દુકાનદાર એને મહિનો ચાલે એટલું રાશન આપી દે. આ દુકાનદારને મહિનાનું એક સામટુ બીલ હાર્દિકભાઈ ચુકવી દે. હજારો જોડીમાં બ્રાન્ડ ન્યુ કપડાં તો દર વર્ષે તેઓ તેમના મિત્રોના સહયોગથી જરૂરિયાતમંદ લોકોને પહોંચાડે. હાર્દિકભાઈનો પોતાનો નાનકડો ધંધો પણ છે એટલે ઈશ્વરે એમને ઘણું આપ્યાનો એ હંમેશા આભાર માને ને જે આપ્યું એ વહેંચી શક્યાનો એમને આનંદ પણ છે.

મોરવાહડપ તાલુકાના ઘણા ગામોમાં હાર્દીકભાઈ સાથે મારુ ફરવાનું થયું. એ દરમ્યાન ઘણા તકવંચિત પરિવારોને પણ મળવાનં થયું. આ બધા હાર્દિકભાઈને આમ જાણે એમના પરિવારના એક અદના સભ્ય હોય એ રીતે મળી રહ્યા હતા. નાના બાળકો પણ ટોળે વળીને સાહેબ મારી પેન્સીલ લાવ્યા, નોટબુક વગેરે અંગે કોઈ ભય વગર એમને પૂછી રહ્યા હતા. અમે જ્યારે રજાયતા, અગરવાડાગામના લોકોને પૂછ્યું કે, “આ રીતે કોઈ અધિકારી તમારા ઘરે આવ્યા હોય, તમારી સાથે તમારા પ્રશ્નોની ચર્ચા કરી એને ઉકેલવા પ્રયત્ન કર્યાનું થયું છે?” ત્યારે એક બહેને કહ્યું, “બેન આ રીતે અધિકારી આવ્યા હોત તો અમારા પ્રશ્નો ક્યારનાય ઉકલી ગયા હોત. આ પહેલા અધિકારી છે જે આ રીતે આવ્યા. હાલ તો એક વખત કચેરીમાં અમારા પ્રશ્નો લઈને અમે જઈએ પછી ફરી એ પ્રશ્ન માટે અમારે જવું નથી પડતું.”

બહેનની વાત સાંભળી તંત્રમાં બેઠેલો દરેક વ્યક્તિ પોતાનામાં આ પ્રકારે સંવેદના જગાડે તો કેવું થાય એ પ્રશ્ન થયો....

When Gargi Jain an IAS officer of 2015 batch of Gujarat cadre took charge of Chhota Udepur in 2025, she began walking into tribal girls' schools every week instead of waiting for students to reach her office. What started as informal conversations became Collector in Classroom, a mentoring programme now reaching over 750 girls. A year on, the district's girls' dropout rate has fallen by nearly 60%.

બંધારણીય સંસ્થા જો આ રીતે વિશ્વસનિયતા ગુમાવી દે તો એ રાજ્ય માટે દુર્ભાગ્યપુર્ણ સ્થિતિ છે.

આશા રાખીએ કે સ્થિતિ બદતર થાય એ પહેલા સરકાર આમાં કોઈ રસ્તો કાઢે, અધ્યક્ષ આ વાતને સાંભળીને સ્થિતિ બદલશે એવી આશા હવે વધારે પડતી લાગે છે.

ગુજરાતના પ્રવાસન ક્ષેત્રે શરૂ થશે એક નવો સ્વર્ણિમ અધ્યાય!

બનાસકાંઠાના ડીસા ખાતે આકાર પામવા જઈ રહ્યો છે એશિયાનો પ્રથમ ડેઝર્ટ-થીમ્ડ ડ્રાઇવ-થ્રુ નાઇટ સફારી પાર્ક અને ઝૂઓલોજિકલ પાર્ક.

માનનીય વડાપ્રધાન શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીના દિશાદર્શન અને મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી ભૂપેન્દ્રભાઈ પટેલના નેતૃત્વમાં પર્યાવરણ જતન સાથે વિકાસની દિશામાં હરણફાળ ભરી રહેલ ગુજરાતના વન વિભાગ દ્વારા ₹542 કરોડ જેટલા ખર્ચે 103 હેક્ટર વિસ્તારમાં નિર્માણ પામી રહેલો આ મહત્વાકાંક્ષી પ્રોજેક્ટ રાજ્યમાં વન્યજીવ સંરક્ષણને નવતર દિશા આપશે. દેશ-વિદેશની લગભગ 83 પ્રજાતિઓના 2700થી વધુ પશુ-પક્ષીઓનું નિવાસસ્થાન બનનારા આ પ્રોજેક્ટના માધ્યમથી માત્ર પ્રવાસન જ નહીં, પરંતુ સ્થાનિક યુવાનો માટે રોજગારીની નવી ક્ષિતિજ ખુલશે તેમજ વન્યજીવ જતન અને ઈકો-ટૂરિઝમના નવા યુગનો થશે પ્રારંભ.

Gujarat competative class1&2 exam which is conducted by gpsc, currently situation is very bad only one chairman and one member is present. (maximum 6 members appointment by government).

Exam conducted regularly but problem is interview, there are more than 15000+ interview pending and this chairman is running interviews with only two pannel board.

Currently medical officer 3500 candidates and 1700 for Gujarat administration post.

If it keeps on going like this then it will take 5-6 years to complete pending interviews.

It is painful to see young students from different parts of the country assembled for days on the streets of New Delhi. Their anxieties and concerns regarding the examination system are genuine and must be handled with empathy and a desire to find a lasting solution. I fervently hope that this is not treated merely as a law-and-order issue to be tackled through the use of force. It is very painful to see that even young girls were brutally mishandled.
Such use of force shall alienate large sections of Indian society from the national goal of Viksit Bharat.

यह देखना अत्यन्त पीड़ादायक है कि देश के विभिन्न भागों से आए युवा छात्र कई दिनों से नई दिल्ली की सड़कों पर एकत्रित हैं। उनकी चिंताएँ और सरोकार वास्तविक हैं। इन्हें सहानुभूति तथा दूरगामी समाधान की दृष्टि से हल किया जाना चाहिए। मुझे पूरी आशा है कि इसे केवल कानूनी और व्यवस्था की समस्या के रूप में नहीं देखा जाएगा जिससे बलपूर्वक निपटा जाये। मुझे य़ह देखकर अत्यन्त पीड़ा हुई है कि महिलाओं और युवतियों पर निर्मम बल प्रयोग किया गया।

It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to know n see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them.

I truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard n make their future and a greater, educated India. This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, n the students have done this peacefully. So courageous and brave. Driven and motivated towards education, this generation will make India proud.

This issue is between the students and the educational system, it should not be hijacked politically, the credit should only go to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them all the support n make it a stronger educational system. It’s a win-win situation. Hoping n praying for a positive decision. God bless all of you who wanna be educated.

Education should be the next trend and fashion, and should get trendier n more fashionable yr by yr, itna k bahar se log come to India to study and India becomes an educational hub.

Dearest Dad,

This is the 8th Father’s Day we are spending torn apart from one another.

When people hear the word father, they often think of a provider, a protector, a parent. But to us, you have been infinitely more than that. You have been our friend, guide, mentor, our biggest inspiration, fiercest supporter, our moral compass, our strength … our very soul! Everything we are today, every value we hold, every conviction we carry, every ounce of courage we possess, begins with you!

Long before we understood the complexities of the world, we understood that if we wanted to know what courage looked like, we only had to look at you … If we wanted to know what integrity looked like, we only had to look at you … If we wanted to know what it meant to stand up for others, to defend those who needed defending, to speak when silence was easier and to persevere when surrender seemed tempting, we only had to look at you!

In these past years, Shan and I have watched lesser men, drunk on power make decisions that have profoundly and painfully altered the course of countless lives. We have watched men entrusted with responsibility choose self-preservation over courage... We have watched Men bending their principles to pressure and greed, choosing convenience over conscience, obedience over integrity, silence over truth and self-interest over justice.

And often, as I watched them, I found myself wondering:
What legacy will these men leave behind?

When history strips away their titles, their influence, their power, what will remain?

When their kin are old enough to understand, what will they tell themselves? What will they think when they look back upon their choices?

Will they speak proudly of men who remained silent when they should have spoken?

Will they admire men who bowed when they should have stood?

Will they celebrate men who traded integrity for advancement and conscience for comfort? who watched injustice unfold and chose silence because it was safer?

Or will they feel the unbearable weight of knowing, that when the moment came to stand for what was right, these men chose instead to kneel before what was expedient?

I do not know.

But what I do know beyond any doubt is that they will never know what Shan and I do …

They will never know the immeasurable privilege of being the children of a man whose character cannot be compromised, whose conscience cannot be intimidated, and whose spirit cannot be broken!

They will never know what it feels like to draw strength from a father whose life is a testament to courage!

They will never know the pride that surges through our veins when we speak his name!

They will never know what it is like to have a father who is not merely a hero to us, but to tens of thousands...

A man who chose principle over comfort...
A man who stood when others knelt...
A man who spoke when others remained silent...
A man who chose truth over safety...
A man who paid the heavy price for doing what was right!

Dad, you have always led by example …

You taught us that courage is not a dramatic act performed in a single moment of heroism, rather it is a habit … a way of moving through the world, a quiet refusal to compromise one's principles, even when compromise would make life easier. It is the willingness to stand alone when standing with the crowd would be safer. It is the ability to look adversity directly in the eye and refuse to surrender your humanity to it.

From you, we learned to never remain silent in the face of injustice, to fight for what is right, no matter the consequences, to face adversity with our heads held high, to walk into storms rather than run from them and to never allow the fire in our hearts and the courage in our souls to be extinguished.

You taught us that hope is not naïveté, rather it is defiance. It is the refusal to allow injustice the final word … it is the belief that truth survives even when buried, that justice survives even when delayed, and that goodness survives even when punished.

Children often search for heroes in books, films, and legends, but Shan and I never had to, because we were fortunate enough to grow up with ours … A hero in flesh and blood! A hero whose voice guided us …Whose example shaped us … Whose love sustained us. A hero we have the immense honour of calling our father!

Dad, you have, and you continue to inspire us, shaping our lives indelibly and forever. Since we were little, you filled our childhood with laughter, warmth, books, music, art, culture, curiosity, and wonder, unwavering in your efforts to introduce us to extraordinary role models. As you guided us through these incredible years of our lives, I wonder whether you ever realised that the person Shan and I have most wanted to become, ever since we were young, has always been, and will always remain, you!

For eight long years, we have been torn apart by cowardly, spine-less men. They’ve stolen away our precious years, celebrations, ordinary moments, memories, and irreplaceable time.But they have failed in the one thing they truly sought to destroy…They have failed to break your courage, spirit and resilience!

People often say greatness is measured by the lives one touches and the principles one refuses to abandon ….
By that measure, Dad, you are a giant!

The names of those who abuse power will eventually fade into oblivion.

But the names of those who stood against them will echo across generations.

Because, in the end, good, though battered and bruised, must triumph over evil.

Justice, though trampled by politics and power, must ultimately prevail

Truth, though persecuted, must emerge.

And it is my belief that you, Dad, will emerge from this stronger than ever!

Dad, you are not only our father … You are our hero … our NorthStar … Our Cornerstone!

Here's to a future where people find the strength to choose courage instead of subservience!

A future where conscience matters more than convenience, where integrity matters more than power, where truth matters more than fear!

Enough lives have been shattered, enough dreams have been trampled and enough futures have been sacrificed at the altar of political expediency!

The time for silence has long passed …. The time for courage has arrived.

And if there is one thing you have taught us, it is this:
That a single voice speaking the truth can echo louder than an army of cowards.

Here's to the day when these years are finally behind us, when distance is no longer measured in years, when celebrations are no longer marked by absence, and when we can simply sit together again, in the warmth of our home.

Here's to the day our family is whole again .... To many more years of laughter, love, arguments about books, terrible jokes, shared meals, listening to music and, as you would say, continuing to "build character."

Happy Father's Day, Dad!

Frankly, I find it extraordinary that a statement about protecting Indian civilian sailors is being twisted into a partisan political controversy.

Three Indians lost their lives. My remarks were about the safety of our citizens and the principle that civilian seafarers should never be targets of military action. If some people are more interested in scoring political points than addressing that concern, that says more about them than it does about me.

Concern for Indian lives should unite us, not divide us.

ગુજરાત પોલીસની સંવેદનશીલતાનું ઉત્કૃષ્ટ ઉદાહરણ! જ્યારે કોઈ સહારો આપવા ન આવ્યું, ત્યારે ‘ગુજરાત પોલીસ’ જામીનમુક્ત મહિલા અને તેના નવજાત બાળક માટે પરિવાર બનીને વહારે આવી.

એક મહિલા આરોપીએ જેલમાં બાળકને જન્મ આપ્યા બાદ, કાયદાકીય પ્રક્રિયા પૂર્ણ થતાં તેને લેવા માટે પરિવારમાંથી કોઈ ઉપસ્થિત નહોતું. આવી કપરી પરિસ્થિતિમાં જિલ્લા કાનૂની સેવા સત્તા મંડળ (આણંદ) અને નડિયાદ જિલ્લા જેલ પ્રશાસનની માનવીય સંવેદનાથી પ્રેરાઈ
ગુજરાત પોલીસ વડા ડૉ. કે.એલ.એન. રાવના કુશળ માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ, પોલીસે ત્વરિત સંવેદનશીલતા દાખવીને એક વિશેષ વાહનની વ્યવસ્થા કરી. આ માતા અને નવજાત શિશુને મધ્યપ્રદેશના અલીરાજપુર જિલ્લામાં તેમના પરિવાર સુધી સુરક્ષિત પહોંચાડીને હૃદયસ્પર્શી પુનર્મિલન કરાવ્યું.

કાનૂન વ્યવસ્થાની જાળવણી સાથે સામાજિક ઉત્તરદાયિત્વ અને સંવેદનાનું આ સુંદર ઉદાહરણ પૂરું પાડવા બદલ ગુજરાત પોલીસના તમામ કર્મયોગીઓને ખૂબ-ખૂબ અભિનંદન!
