@AlfredNgaroNZ given your comments on vaccine injury and death, what is your personal opinion on the NZDF's continued stance to retain the COVID vaccine primary course in its baseline vaccination requirements schedule for service personnel? Does your personal opinion differ from NZ First on this?

Would you and your party advocate and apply appropriate pressure for both our minister of defence and chief of defence force to justify how in 2026 it is still a requirement when our closest military allies have all moved on from requiring it years ago, some offering jobs back with back pay and apologies.

If so, why not action that now. Its easy to put the boot in to say how bad labour was, yet there has been no change in this space even with the new government.

I wish you and your party all the best. I want to believe what you guys are saying, but there hasn't been tangible change in this space to convince me that even with a stronger party vote anything will change for in coming recruits to the NZDF and for those previously discharged for vaccine refusal.

And the fight continues. Think of every new recruit who is still subject to receive this. I've been trying to raise awareness and appeal for help, even to get a straight answer to justify why it remains an internal policy in the NZDF while our allies have moved on years ago, reinstating discharged personnel with backpay and apologies. I know some people must care, but it certainly seems hopeless.
