@Fahadnaimb Is the defective panel still in place with the high speed tape covering the defects ? Structurally that would still react aerodynamic loads. But it looks like the panel is not in place ??
@Peter_Fitz And the bruising on his hands are from repeated blood sampling as nurses try for a good vein. Whatever he has he is actually in good shape because he is going up and down those airstairs pretty easily !
@TripppleSeven7 And the aluminium tape all over the wing upper surface to protect the carbon epoxy from UV damage after paint layers have detached, is not confidence building !
Probably finger trouble with entering a lower takeoff weight than actual into the system and crosscheck missed it.
@TripppleSeven7 A whole fuselage panel or even panels will need to be cut away and replacements bolted back in place with titanium splices and joints. The panels can come from fuselage sections that are held in storage for this purpose or even manufactured specifically. Mega expensive !
@Keg767 Finger trouble ! Reminiscent of Emirates 407 at Melbourne Australia departing with a takeoff weight typed in that was
substantially less than actual.
@strangerous10 Apparently some in the business call these 'keepy backs' because they are known to be highly questionable and need to be kept away from prying eyes !
@SandyHorne61@DHughesy Even the chinese Kimi gets the facts almost 100% correct. 10 second lookup is all it takes. And its very patient with stupidity !
@aaronsmith@johnall63155852@News24Aust@Peter_Fitz This is even superior to the jean cocteau quote about arguing with fools (sometimes attributed to mark twain). It needs to go to reddit so google can spread it far and wide !!
@JayinKyiv Someone needs to write a book on 'Managing Upwards'
This lowering of gas prices along the route used by Putin would definitely be in the masterclass chapter
@PhillipAdams_1 What about a 1920 Doble steam car ? Still a magnificent looking machine and is suprisingly nifty
Jay Leno owns one in full working order !!
Have been testing Kimi the new Chinese AI competitor to the USA products.
It is impressive and if it is behind, its not by much, and one or two more revisions and it could even be ahead. It begs the question what other Chinese platforms are about to drop out of the sky ??
@BuzzPatterson Even with a much reduced cabin altitude (are they going to the lowest 5500ft value ?) the medical risks on flights over 10 hours become serious. Older passengers in particular need to be thoroughly informed when flights like this are rolled out.
My scientific calendar for today has the interesting factoid
That the push force from the driving piston on each side of the record high speed British steam engine Mallard in 1938, was 67000 pounds force each side. The thrust on a 737 max is
29000 pounds force per engine.
@AlanKohler This will be the end of the internet and lots of AI that scrapes up this stuff, as the less discriminating will be thoroughly convinced by the material and reality and facts will be submerged in dross.
@Peter_Fitz Allegedly, Menzies tried hard to entrench the scottish pronounciation something like Mingis, which is where Ming (the merciless) came from. Pig Iron Bob came from the 1938 decision to sell pig iron to the Japanese knowing it was going into their arms industry.
