A new study published in the Lancet finds that life expectancy in Gaza dropped by nearly half, from 75.5 years to 40.6 years, during the first twelve months of the genocide. Apocalyptic. Link below.

Yesterday's PMQs was deeply shameful.
UK proudly welcomes refugees from Ukraine (as we should), but when our weapons decimate Gaza, we deny sanctuary to the most vulnerable.
As naked a display of institutional racism coming to the surface as you'll ever witness in UK politics.
TODAY: Racist hate preacher Kate Hopkins will be in Shoreditch on Saturday, 8 February speaking at an event hosted by supporters of Donald Trump and "Tommy Robinson".
Please join the counter-protest to this vile racist scum-bag.
The East-End is anti-racist.

Nick Tenconi has been appointed ‘permanent’ Leader of UKIP - and the romance with Tommy Robinson goes on.
Just as we predicted, Tenconi was the only nominee for the Leadership in the recently announced election, so he has been appointed, without a members' vote, by the NEC.
None of this is a surprise. Prospective candidates had a series of hoops to go through before they could stand and even had to find a non-refundable £3000 deposit for the privilege.
Interested parties may also have looked back at the shock election of Lois Perry, against all the odds, in July, and thought twice about hazarding their cash.
Tenconi's ratification as ‘Permanent Leader’ is a little odd though, given that the UKIP constitution imposes a maximum five-year term on the post. But as we have said many times recently, this is UKIP.
The link up between UKIP and Tommy Robinson supporters rolls on. From the platform of Robinson’s ‘Stop the Isolation’ rally last Saturday, demo organiser and Robinson’s right hand man, Richard Inman, declared that "UKIP is the only party that represents the British people and is taking a stand".
And he echoed Tenconi by name, calling for mass deportations.
Also on the platform were Welsh UKIP activist and convicted fraudster, Dan Morgan, and NEC member and party Culture Spokesman Ricki Doolan, who was at the head of the march with Inman.
There was also an appearance from Gerard Batten, the former UKIP leader, dumped by the membership after trying to hire Tommy Robinson as a ‘rape gangs adviser’ back in 2019. But times have changed.
Other UKIP luminaries like Tenconi himself and Chairman Ben 'Rogue Builder' Walker were absent because they were locked in a UKIP NEC meeting that was to ratify Tenconi’s appointment.
Tenconi did nip out to record a video on Westminster Bridge claiming he was “marching with tens of thousands of patriots” but then hurried back to the NEC.
Curiously, the date of the NEC meeting and the date of Saturday’s demo were both announced on 9 December. And the rallying point for the demo was outside the Union Jack Club, in Sandell St, Waterloo, where the UKIP executive was gathered. All just coincidence, of course.
Searchlight has been reporting for months on the increasing cosiness between UKIP and what Robinson calls his ‘cultural movement’. Before he was imprisoned, Robinson endorsed UKIP and rejected Nigel Farage’s Reform UK, saying Farage had betrayed them.
He said he was looking forward to discussions with Tenconi and his fellow convicted criminal, Ben Walker, about working more closely together.
Only Robinson’s prison sentence interrupted the process, but in the meantime several leading Robinson activists have been co-opted onto the UKIP NEC, including Inman, Doolan, Stan Robinson and longtime Robinson associate Dean Neil.
Tenconi, for his part, has said that UKIP wants to run Robinson as a candidate in the next Parliamentary election.

The ethnic cleansing of Gaza and destruction of Palestine is now US foreign policy.
Demand that the British government publicly condemn this outrageous plan and take a stand for Palestinian rights.

🚨Statement from @LeanneMohamad and more against the racist attacks and to unite against Islamophobia and the far right tomorrow on the march in London:
At least 7 mosques, Islamic centres and schools have been targeted by racist graffiti in the past weeks across London.
We condemn these acts of Islamophobic violence that have no place in our communities. But we know they are not isolated incidents. This is where the racism in parliament and the media leads.
Nigel Farage and Reform UK are whipping up anti-migrant racism and Islamophobia. Trump is back in the White House, emboldening racists everywhere. Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, has performed Nazi salutes, become the leading defender of fascist Tommy Robinson and is spreading dangerous Islamophobic lies. Robinson has been boosted by all of this and wants to mobilise more racist violence in Britain.
In August, the far right exploited the horrific attack in Southport by stirring up Islamophobia. This led to the far right riots breaking out across Britain. Racist mobs attacked muslims, mosques, Asian and black people while chanting Tommy Robinson’s name.
Thousands of antiracists came out across the country to oppose them and say the far right was not welcome on our streets. In a massive showing of unity across Britain, we halted the far right riots.
But the threat of the far right is only growing. Robinson has called another march in central London on Saturday 1 February. His racist supporters must not go unchallenged, or feel the confidence to carry out more Islamophobic attacks.
In the wake of the attacks, we call on the government to take action to combat Islamophobia and to meaningfully engage with the demands of muslim communities, organisations and representatives.
We must unite against the far right, Islamophobia and all forms of racism. We must build a mass antiracist movement to stop racist attacks and drive the far right off our streets. We will not be intimidated. Join us Saturday 1 February 11.30am on St James’s Street, London to march against the far right.

National demo against Tommy Robinson's racist thugs: 11.30pm, Saturday, 01 February 2025 at St James’s Street (off Piccadilly), London. Robinson is a hate preacher spreading racist poison. His mate #elonmusk is promoting fascism in the US, UK and Germany. We say #NeverAgain.
Credit spoke at the @KentAntiRacism rally.
Chelsea Headhunters had attacked anti fascists at a service station. @bat020 pic shows the aftermath which ended badly for them.
Best to all from then...see many of you this Saturday to oppose 'Tommy Robinson's' goons.

#OTD 9 years ago anti fascists stood their ground against various nazi splinter group's in Dover, Kent. A very testing day but ultimately a successful one against extremely violent thugs.
Over 50 fascists were jailed & internal recriminations followed.
