Hello Operators
Radio Antenna Handbook for SHTF is now available on Amazon Kindle.
This handbook brings together the antenna systems covered throughout my field work and organizes them into a structured, practical reference. The focus is deployment under real conditions: limited power, limited supports, difficult terrain, harsh weather, and time constraints.
Inside you’ll find:
Practical dipole, OCFD, and EFHW deployments
NVIS configuration guidance for 80 m, 60 m, and 40 m
Portable vertical systems and shortened field antennas
Counterpoise management and ground considerations
Troubleshooting tools and field diagnostics
A physics-based look at 11-meter CB antennas and how to build them correctly
The emphasis is on selecting the right antenna for the mission, understanding trade-offs, and achieving repeatable results in the field.
If you operate HF or 11-meter CB and want a clear, pragmatic guide to antenna deployment in off-grid or emergency conditions, the Kindle edition is available now.
As is often the case, I’ll be fine-tuning the manuscript over the next few days before publishing the paperback. A print-ready PDF will also be published through Patreon and Ko-fi.

@shoptemu this isn’t a support issue, this is your marketing department problem. Every time I open your app to buy something I have to exit at least 5-10 various offers, coupons, spinwheels and what not. It literally just doesn’t allow me to buy stuff before I see all the ads.
@sama Especially on phones when reading a response it would be superb if checkbox appears over each paragraph on mouse / touch to quote just that section and chat. about it. And then it should allow users to ask multiple questions *during* response being generated. Thanks @sama
In app ads for @shoptemu are an abomination. They literally force me to wait for 30-60 seconds watching fake wheels and games until I can use the app. In most cases I just close the app and NOT order whatever I wanted in the first place.
The amount of FUD about this is getting ridiculous. Starlink doesn’t work in Russia. But guess what, if you stick it on a rocket that flies *outside* of Russia, it may work.
⚡️Russia has installed Starlink on Shahed-136 drones: it gives unlimited communication range for drones flying at 2,000 km - Defense Express
The drone was shot down by Ukraine's Armed Forces during last night's attack.
With the help of Starlink, Russia can use Shahed drones as an extremely long-range loitering munition with the ability to conduct reconnaissance checks, thanks to an additional camera, and hit even moving targets.
