@kraln @andreiursan @ericbahn this is not accurate based on what i learnt in econ/finance class. the Fed does “create money from thin air” when it purchases securities (debt/credit) from the US Treasury + member banks. Treasury issuing debt isn’t when new money is created. what is “real dollarydoos”?

@ianweiner90 isn’t is crazy that the govt penalizes our cap gains for getting married… MFJ is double the single amounts only for the 0% bracket but for 15% or higher it’s nowhere close to double 200k (rather only 250!) is everyone married expected to lose a job or something? 🙄
