https://t.co/vW64XktBOg is completed with a new UI, faster loading(no more loading 6,000 pictures at once), and a much easier way to view videos and face clusters! Small UI tweaks and quality of life improvements will continue throughout the week
@OcD60532172 Some will work, some wont. Our theory is that depending on the device used to record the video, some were encoded in h.265 and some in h.264. The Parler app, for some reason, did not store a version of each video transcoded to a standard format.

@atwistedsystem @bakerta83021650 @capitolhunters@SeditionHunters We already store the frame the face came from in the filename, so converting that to minute and seconds will hopefully not be too difficult
@KbLeecaster To watch the video, you will n Ed to download it to your phone or PC. Certain videos are not able to be played on any web browser, but we are working on fixing it.
@oingoboingo110@22ColeRin Oh, we are aware of the encoding issue, and are working on encoding all videos to a playable format, but it takes a significant amount of time

Possibly will be processing a lot more video this weekend, increasing our database size. https://t.co/vW64XkLcFO should also look much better when viewed on mobile devices.
@cktcb@SeditionHunters Right now 5,400 pictures are displayed. 50 rows per page, 6 pictures per row, 18 pages of these photos. If it does not all display, reload with shift+f5 or try clearing your browser cache.
@lukensmall With 50 rows per page and 6 pictures per row, on 18 pages, that's 5,400 images. The new clustering removed a lot of duplicates, so it's slightly less than 6000 now

We will likely be embedding google analytics in the website for analytics purposes (curious to see traffic and our new host recommends using google analytics). If there are significant complaints, we will remove it.
@kitchetech@bluehost@bluehostsupport It was a ddos attack, our new host is much stronger and confirmed it is most likely a ddos attack. There is almost no way our website generated the claimed 14,000 requests per minute without an attack
