Rawalpindi, 03 December, 2025:

Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani, Commander Royal Saudi Land Forces, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (#COAS), #Pakistan Army at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi today.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security, and avenues for enhanced bilateral defence cooperation were discussed. Both sides reiterated their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding and brotherly relations between the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

COAS expressed satisfaction on robust defence collaboration between the two countries and emphasized upon the need for continued cooperation in training, capacity building, and intelligence sharing. Commander RSLF acknowledged the professionalism of Pakistan Army and appreciated the positive role played by Pakistan in regional peace and stability.

Upon arrival at GHQ, the visiting dignitary was presented with a Guard of Honour.

An Afghan national, Luqmaan Khan, born in Pakistan to refugee parents, has been arrested in Delaware for allegedly planning an attack on the University of Delaware Police Department. Authorities reportedly recovered firearms, body armor, ammunition, and a notebook with detailed plans during the operation.

Khan is currently in federal custody as investigations proceed. Officials emphasize that the case will move forward through the legal system and that, if the allegations are proven in court, punishment should be applied in accordance with the law regardless of background or nationality.

Lieutenant General Muhammad Ghalib Muhammad Radi Al-Asadi, Commander Iraqi Air Force, while on an official visit to #Pakistan, called on General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) at Joint Staff Headquarters, Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, both dignitaries held detailed discussions on evolving global and regional geo-strategic landscape. They underscored the importance of bilateral collaboration for regional peace and stability, reaffirming their resolve to further expand defence and security cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
The visiting dignitary remained appreciative of professional standards of Pakistan Armed Forces, their achievements and sacrifices in fight against terrorism and continued efforts towards regional peace and stability.
Earlier, upon arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters, a smartly turned-out tri-services contingent presented Guard of Honour to the visiting dignitary.
