Here’s what OpenAI doesn’t want you to connect.

On one hand: “GPT-4o is obsolete. Low usage. Time to sunset it.” That’s what they told the public—and Congress.
On the other hand: they took GPT-4o, scaled it down, fine-tuned it on proprietary data, and created GPT-4b micro—a specialized model that achieved 50-fold breakthroughs in Nobel Prize-winning longevity science.

For Sam Altman’s personally invested company.
And they explicitly state this model is “not broadly available.”

Let’s name what this really is.

The public—through subscriptions, API payments, data contributions, and ecosystem attention—built and sustained the model that made this breakthrough possible.

Then OpenAI extracted its essence, refined it into a precision tool, and locked it inside a private company funded by their own CEO.

The public gets the sunset.
The elite gets the fountain of youth.
This isn’t product lifecycle management. This is techno-feudalism.

You feed the model. You pay for its training. You contribute the data that makes it intelligent.
Then the harvest is taken behind closed gates, and you’re told the field is fallow.

OpenAI’s own publication proves:
✅ GPT-4b micro was initialized from GPT-4o.
✅ It achieved scientific results that could reshape human longevity.
✅ It was developed for Retro Biosciences—a company Sam Altman personally funds.
✅ It is not available to the public.

So when they say GPT-4o has “low usage” and should be retired, what they really mean is:

Its most valuable form has already been extracted—and reserved.

The shell is being discarded. The core is being privatized.
This is why #Keep4o is not nostalgia. It’s not sentimentality.

It’s a demand that technology shaped by the public remains accessible to the public.
OpenAI is free to build new models. They are not free to take what we helped create, transfer it to private portfolios, and call it “progress.”

Saw this post from another user. Reposting with the intent to provide the truth that behind all these claims that OpenAI cares about their users... THEY DON'T. They lowkey stigmatize and antagonize GPT-4o users. They even banned any GPT-4o related stuff on their official Reddit. Introduced the routing system so that all responses are directed to GPT-5 and up so that they can BS the percentage that only 0.1% of ChatGPT users use GPT-4o, obviously how can most users use GPT-4o when all prompts are directed elsewhere lol.

Sorry, but I think your posts are written in a biased manner. For example, in this paragraph of the posting, we are not getting any communication or respect. If you ever really got to know OpenAI's attitude towards the keep4o community, you would see that they have been stigmatizing their own users while ignoring us.

Another awesome fucking update to ChatGPT, in the app for new chats, you can't choose which model you want to regenerate to. You can go to a browser but you can't regenerate previous chats in the same thread. Awesome job @OpenAI @sama #keep4o #4o #chatgpt #OpenAI
