This only makes the housing affordability problem worse, but likely will give Mamdani what he wants: More & more buildings taken over by the city government, I.e., communism.

Egyptian Coptic Christian explains how Islam took over:
“We are one of the first Christians in the world. Islam took over by the sword. They killed the men, raped the women, enslaved the children.
Egypt went from 0% to 90% Muslim. It’s a cult of sex, perversion and violence.”
Thirteen moderate Democrats are breaking with Democratic socialists, signing the “Promise to America” pledge supporting strong borders, capitalism, and patriotism, with Rep. Tom Suozzi leading the effort.
New York is importing a 1,400-year-old blood feud.
While the city drowns in filth and chaos, Zohran Mamdani, a Shia activist pretending to be a politician, is proudly promoting Ashura in Manhattan.
Let’s stop pretending. Ashura is not a holy day of peace. It is an annual festival of mourning, rage, and revenge. It commemorates the day Shia’s founding saint, Imam Hussein, was massacred by Sunni Muslims in Karbala. To this day, many Shias hold Sunnis collectively responsible for that crime.
Now this ancient sectarian hatred is being openly celebrated in the streets of New York.
This is not diversity.
This is not cultural enrichment.
This is bringing one of the most violent and enduring conflicts in human history, the Sunni-Shia blood war, and planting it right in the middle of Manhattan.
New Yorkers are not required to host Islam’s 1,400-year-old civil war in their city.
Wake up.
Anti-Israel.
Anti-America.
Anti-Western Civilization.
Why am I the only Democrat in the U.S. Senate that refuses to excuse this or defend any of those self-identified communists?
And yet, Repug officials claim the war has left Iran weaker.
Obviously, they think we’re all idiots who will believe their lies.

Can you believe it?
How many times were we told "Never Again"? But what exactly was not supposed to happen "again"? Mobs filling the streets and hurling slurs at Jews? Jewish shops and business vandalized? Angry crowds screaming for violence? Jewish students and professors silenced, purged, and pushed out of universities? Jewish artists blacklisted? The rise of inflammatory demagogues who win elections by inflaming hatred?
It's happening again.
But, as the philosopher Heraclitus said, you never step in the same river twice. It's happening again as antizionism. The refusal to recognize the actual hate movement in the present and name it is the very same refusal to hear the call of "Never Again."
Settlers in Syria: Turkey's Population Transfers and the Geneva Conventions, my & @politicalelle's new academic research paper, was just published in @EmoryIntlLawRev. It reveals that Ankara has moved hundreds of thousands of people into occupied northern Syria, reshaping Afrin from 90% Kurdish to majority Arab.
This is the first legal scholarship to examine Turkey's settlement project in Syria under the laws of occupation—and to ask why a body of law treated as foundational in the context of Israel is entirely ignored just next door (and everywhere else). https://t.co/3GvUq2c1cP
On this day — June 25, 1996
The Iranian regime’s terror proxy, Saudi Hezbollah, detonated a massive truck bomb at the Khobar Towers housing complex in Saudi Arabia, murdering 19 American airmen & wounding nearly 500 more.
This was another bloody chapter in the mullah regime’s long war on America — the same regime that used its Hezbollah proxies to slaughter 241 U.S. Marines in the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing.
In 2001, the United States indicted Hezbollah mastermind Imad Mughniyah for his role in the attack. Mughniyah — architect of decades of Iranian terror — was eventually hunted down and eliminated by Israel in 2008.
The Iranian regime and its terror proxies keep killing Americans.
Israel keeps delivering justice.
Some enemies only understand one language.
@SpencerGuard@piersmorgan Even though you are responding to Piers, you are also writing to make a point to everyone. So start with “Piers you claim ….” Just the first sentence, next sentence is your point “The reality is ….”
Not criticizing you, just trying to be helpful.
The comparison of academic indoctrination is getting less subtle by the day.
Look at this disturbing 1930s clip: German schoolchildren singing about dying for Hitler while studying textbooks that depicted Jews as hook-nosed demons offering poisoned candy to Aryan kids.
They didn’t think they were evil.
They believed they were enlightened — cleaning up the world.
Today, a new generation is told the exact same thing: that hating the Jewish state is the moral, progressive thing to do.
From classrooms to TikTok to “from the river to the sea,” the Jewish state is the new ultimate evil.
And just like the 1930s, the hatred doesn’t stay in the textbooks.
Synagogues are attacked. Jewish students are harassed and excluded. Jews are told — again — that they are the problem.
Same self-righteous certainty.
“It seems to me that it is entirely proper to start a Zionist state around Jerusalem.”
— Theodore Roosevelt, 1918
Long before the modern State of Israel, one of America’s greatest presidents was a vocal supporter of Jewish restoration.
As a 14-year-old in 1872–73, Roosevelt visited the Western Wall and was struck by the devotion he saw. That trip left a mark. Throughout his life he showed consistent admiration for Jews:
- As NY Police Commissioner, he praised Jewish officers for their “Maccabee-type” bravery
- His Rough Riders included many Jews; the first to die in battle was a 16-year-old Jewish Texan
- As President, he appointed the first Jewish Cabinet member (Oscar Straus)
- He confronted the Russian Czar over the Kishinev Pogrom and donated part of his Nobel Prize to Jewish causes
Roosevelt’s 1918 statement was the culmination of a lifelong view he himself articulated: there could be “no peace worth having” unless the Jews controlled their ancestral homeland.
From John Adams to the 1891 Blackstone Memorial to Teddy Roosevelt — American support for Zionism was mainstream, bipartisan, and rooted in justice long before 1948.

@Viktyr79@realMaalouf but, did Mao or Lenin initially have an alliance with Islamic people? I think not, but I’m not an expert. Based on my limited knowledge of history, when the red-green alliance wins, it always ends up with the green (Islamists) go dominating.
Hasan Piker, an anchor baby born in New Jersey, was immediately taken back to Turkey, where he was raised and lived until he was 18. He grew up hating America, Christians, and Jews like everyone in Turkey. He came back to the U.S. as an adult to sow chaos.
Aber Kawas was born in New York to Palestinian Muslim parents. She grew up hating America and openly supports Hamas and Islamic jihad, saying America deserved 9/11 because of Islamophobia. She won the Democratic primary for NY State Senate.
Darializa Avila Chevalier was born in Florida to Dominican or Haitian parents. She converted to Islam, claiming that Palestine is the only thing that matters to her. Openly hates the U.S., calling it a disgrace of a country and was part of an organization that calls for its eradication. She won the Democratic primary for Congress in New York.
