Now I'm building too many fun things with AI agents and need somewhere to empty my head. So this is me finally hitting Post. 17 years in, still basically a new account.
When I started running AI agents I thought the win would be less work. The work did go away. What came back was decisions, all day, small ones, from my phone. My job title is basically Chief Decision Maker now.
@_mohansolo Who has the time to test any of this? As a business using Google products, how you expect us to deliver this to our users? Maybe a real use case video?
@georgeorch The ones that stuck for me each own one thing, like the forms or the championship results for a motorsport group. Nobody chats with them. They do the job and I approve what ships.
Everyone is building a chatbot that answers questions about documents. That is the smallest thing AI can do for a company.
The big thing is an agent with a real job. It shows up every day, does the work a person used to do, and you get your time back.
@dexhorthy Point 3 is why I built my own. My agents follow review steps I wrote for my stack, and no product could have guessed how my tests and previews work.
@levie You keep repeating the same narrative. There is no doubt that is where everything is headed. How about actual use cases and examples from your customers that others can adopt in their business?
No amount of features frontier labs are adding to their products will bridge the huge gap that exists between chat users and power users. Something else will need to happen. I do think the education is a first step with real use cases on real work tasks.
I left the two letter word out of this lol.
