The goal of capitalism is to extract as much profit as possible. We need to realize that this model has dire consequences when we apply it to the essentials of life.
EXCLUSIVE: We uncovered a secret corporate scheme to raise grocery prices.
We found that Instacart is using AI algorithms to charge customers different prices for the same items.
The scary part? It's not just online. It's in physical grocery stores too.
Our months-long investigation with @ConsumerReports and @Groundwork found it could cost families $1200/year.
Among the Jews we believe will not be allowed into Israel again are @PeterBeinart@aaronjmate@normfinkelstein and many others.
We confirm there are names of younger JVP activists we’ve been asked to name to our lists as israeli intelligence is interested in questioning them regarding terror links. Today at the Jabotinsky Institute we met 4 goverment leaders.
From israel we will continue to add to this list!
Erdogan shares the below video to commemorate 7 October. Quite a production.
It is a future where Gaza Genocide is accepted world wide and memorised through museums and movies.
And children ask to their grandparents, “what were you doing during the genocide grandpa?”
Today, with colleagues, I introduced legislation to block arms sales to Israel.
Sending more weapons to Netanyahu's extremist government is immoral & illegal: U.S. weapons are responsible for far too many civilian casualties in Gaza.
We must end our complicity in this atrocity.
Important message from Dr Mark Perlmutter, just back from volunteering in Gaza. He is president of the World Surgical Foundation and a former president of the Int. College of Surgeons: US Congress needs to stop sending arms shipments to a state “that’s recklessly killing innocent women and children.” He explains:
Two American doctors, one of them Jewish, describe in Politico the hell they witnessed in Gaza, including Israel’s targeting of Palestinian children with bullets to the head:
These trauma surgeons thought they’d seen the worst of the worst. But nothing they’d experienced prepared them for the horrors they found in Gaza, as civilians and children suffer under Israel’s bombing campaign.

There is a coup attempt ongoing in Bolivia right now, once again led by far right fascist forces of course with ties to the CIA. Don't be surprised if the Mossad is also involved, as they are deeply embedded in fascist far movements across the world, and particularly in South and Central America.
The previous coup resulted in Christian fundamentalist fascist Jeanine Anez to be installed as dictator, and of course she was a staunch Zionist too and immediately reestablished relations with Israel and expressed support for and vowed close ties with the genocidal regime.
For now it looks like the coup only has partial support from the military and might fail. Morales and the President Acre have called for mass mobilizations of the people to safeguard democracy.
This is the second CIA-backed coup plot against the Bolivian state in under 5 years.
Bolivia has 21 million tons of lithium reserves—the largest on the planet.
Bolivia also cut off all relations with Israel in condemnation of the genocide in Gaza.
Coincidence? I think not.
BREAKING:
Israel is dropping bombs on Syria’s capital city of Damascus in the middle of the night.
Only Israel is allowed to bomb civilians in 3 different countries at the same time, and the “international community” doesn’t even blink.
1/ I’m an Israeli historian. My community is still too silent about the horrible war in Gaza. Over 8 months I’ve closely followed the war, reading >1000 articles and viewing >1000 videos/images of the war from all sides. My summary conclusions & full report are in the 🧵:
BREAKING: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected ceasefire proposals because he says Hamas's call for a withdrawal of all troops from Gaza and an end to the war is unacceptable

Full circle:
Just spoke to the Stanford Student encampment via zoom.
I was calling in from South Africa, where I am working with figures from the anti-apartheid movement to strategize and act to end the slaughter in Gaza and to achieve freedom.
As a student at Stanford, arriving from Palestine, I had been beaten by Israeli soldiers, they almost killed my mom, and they told me if I studied physics they’d exile me.
I was beaten again on winter break for having a Palestinian scarf in my car on my way to a friend’s birthday.
Weirdly, adding to the bitterness of the experience, one of the soldiers who beat and searched me found my Stanford ID, was shocked, and told me he had just graduated from Berkeley - showing me his old ID.
Berkeley and Stanford have an intense rivalry / and I felt doubly insulted.
When we launched a divestment campaign, under the name Students Confronting Apartheid by Israel, I was doxxed, many of my professors claimed calling Israel apartheid was anti-Semitic.
Although I had been the one beaten, threatened, and doxxed online to ruin my career - the university called me in and told me our campaign for divestment made some Jewish students feel unsafe and that I was making the situation on campus “dangerous”. Some of the students who complained had just come from serving in the Israeli army.
I later bought a kippah and wore it for a couple of days on campus and Palo Alto because I was truly worried there was anti-semitism and wanted to test if I’d experience it, and show solidarity with the students, especially since we had Jewish classmates organizing with us.
I only later realized that these claims of anti-semitism were massively exaggerated, and instead were a weaponization of Jewish fear as a tactic to silence Palestinian activism.
You see, key figures in the staunchly pro-Israel community, including members of the Israeli consulate, had told the young students at Hillel that the divestment campaign was a secret conspiracy to destroy the Jewish people, and fueled their fear with disinformation until they were terrified that every person saying divest from Israel’s apartheid was out to get them.
Now, 15 years later, every respected international law expert, as well as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty, and Israel’s leading human rights org Btselem call Israel apartheid. It’s an established legal fact - although it was a conversation that had been shut down a decade ago on campus as “anti-Semitic”.
Now, 15 years later - instead of dozens of students mobilizing for divestment… tens of thousands are.
Now, South Africa is taking Israel to the world court.
Now, I am in South Africa and together with my colleagues here we recognize that Israel’s apartheid is starting to crumble - something that felt so distant a decade ago.
Sadly, the same weaponization of anti-semitism, the same weaponizations of Jewish fear and trauma, are being mobilized at scale to silence students just as they were mobilized to silence me.
But we, and the students, are all wiser now. We know the future we’re struggling for, a future of freedom, justice and dignity for all, will not only ensure Palestinians live in dignity, but will also achieve a future that is safer for the Jewish people than anything Zionism can promise or has achieved.
Palestinians and many Jews now have deep rooted alliances, working together for that future.
This is the shared future of liberation - from apartheid and from fear - that must be amplified louder than all the fear-mongering.
Strategically, we need to figure out exactly what types of tactics will ensure divestment happens on campuses, that’s where all our attention must focus. But these are detailed discussions not for X.
For now, I just wanted to share that I am brimming with hope after speaking with the students and seeing how far we’ve come.
The path to freedom can feel long and tedious, but it’s worth it when one connects with hearts of gold like them.
In 2001, on 9/11, five Israeli men were arrested for dancing and celebrating as the Twin Towers fell
They were filming and had large amounts of cash, box cutters, and residue of explosives on them
They were discovered to be Mossad agents who later admitted they were there to document the events
While in jail they failed numerous lie detector test
One agent was an alleged expert in explosives
They were part of Urban Movers which was a large Israeli shell company used to get Mossad agents and spies in the US
Due to pressure from higher-ups, they were released and sent back to Israel
