@TheChaosWeeber Let me recommend HomeExchange, a lovely network of hosts and guests!
You’ll get welcome bonuses that will at least give you a few nights without ever hosting a guest when you sign up for your annual membership.

When someone tries to argue that "you can't bike half the year in Canada because of winter", remind them:
A) Canada is huge and not all the same weather.
B) Toronto/GTA and much of southern Ontario, where a big % of the population live, only January had an average temp below 0'C.
~2.5M people use the TTC per day, and @BikeShareTO saw nearly 1M trips in August. Now imagine if all those people were driving cars instead. There simply isn't enough room for every single person in Toronto to drive a car. Scalable and sustainable options need to be priority.
@cityoftoronto Bike lanes included? Saw a lot of stressed cyclists and scooters in Toronto Centre having to make the decision of either pushing through slippery snow or riding or risk getting clipped on an even more narrow road... @311Toronto @ChrisMoiseTO
@parkseann Sources say that management is debating hitting free agency to find a replacement vs sliding an underused but professional vet like Goran into the starting lineup
The eviction of 60 #encampment residents from their homes & the "remediation" of park grass cost approx. $33,000 per person. All 60 residents could have been housed at market rate in a bachelor ($1,211/month) for two years at a cost of $29,064 per person: https://t.co/WK8GoQKeLB

When I was 14 it was accomplishment for me to do all my homework AND wake up before noon on the weekend.
As the world reopens, how are people communicating boundaries and expectations around their personal comfort with COVID precautions in their personal relationships?
Is anyone working discussing varying COVID comfort into roommate success plans, consent training, etc? #SACDN

it’s actually insane that we live in a city where we allow $800K condos and $2 million homes to exist and thrive and rise but send dozens of cops to enforce the removal of people living in encampments
As of May 18 at 8:00 a.m., individuals aged 18 and over will be eligible to book their #COVID19 vaccine appointment at https://t.co/329yttcBS5, or through #PublicHealth units that use their own booking system.
Privileged people wine & dine; homeless people get a fine (with a side of forced removal & displacement).
Today the City issued trespass notices to our homeless neighbours. A few hours later City trucks showed up to set up CafeTO where they just issued notices.
Well then.
@shctoronto I was told I would receive confirmation of my second dose appointment shortly.
I then received this email after my appointment confirming my appointment that had already happened. Should I still be waiting for my 2nd dose appointment email or where do I follow up?
