923 days ago, it was day 1 of learning to code.
I was watching @levelsio's How to Bootstrap a Business video
His words stopped me
"To build your idea, learn to code.
Just Google, How to make a website.
Business and coding is about learning how to figure things out yourself"
@secondrob@lessin@Calendly Hey Rob, I know your reply to Sam was a while ago, but I felt the same as a salesperson with Calendly.
I built a tool to fix it.
It adds timezones to GCal, turns time slots on GCal to text, overlays emails onto GCal, etc
It's free to use/try

@muhzle I know this was forever ago, but feel the same thing being an AE.
I built a Chrome extension that makes "old school scheduling" easy.
It writes the times for you, adjusts the text's timezone, adds multiple timezones to GCal, etc.

@brianshinsh I feel the same thing being an AE.
I actually built a Chrome extension that makes "old school scheduling" easy.

@doooyle Yo Ryan, I made this Chrome extension a while back.
It auto-types time slots and adjusts timezones from G Cal, saving time from the repetitive task of writing out meeting times.
It's for when scheduling links aren't a fit, but thought it might help

Could have made money on sponsors. Also considered doing a Surf Trip Pass. Similar to skiingβs Epic/Ikon Passes.
Both have potential. Problem is surfers are cheap AF. If Iβd do it over Iβd consider starting with a wealthier, more popular sport. Golf, ski,
Got the calendar overlay shadows persisting when the user views different weeks.
Next up:
1/ Ensure the user knows they need to be on "week view"
2/ Ensure shadow heights are correct on all screen heights
3/ Generate links from the available time generator
π Publish!
I got the show, hide, and remove overlay function working last night.
Goal tonight β Get the overlays to persist when the user toggles to next and previous weeks.
