#WATCH | Thiruvananthapuram, Keralam | All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC) Kerala State Secretary Sreenath Induchoodan say, “On 11 September and in the upcoming days, we are going to unveil a story of betrayal… Across the country, 8 lakh employees spread across almost seven unions are on strike on 11 September and then on 28, 29 and 30 September. From 26 October, we will be continuing an indefinite strike if the central government, DFS and the Ministry of Finance do not accept our demands…”
I have a few very basic and simple questions related to @bankofbaroda
Can someone please guide me under which law or act I can legally seek answers to these questions from the bank?
1. Who was the last person from the HR department that Shiv Shankar Mitra spoke to?
2. Why was Shiv Shankar Mitra’s VRS application on health grounds not immediately accepted?
3. Who are the employees of Bank of Baroda with whom Shiv Shankar Mitra had conversations that made him feel that ending his life was the only option left, instead of considering any other solution?
Please help me understand how I can legally get answers to these questions.

Once upon a time in public sector banks
if you report about unethical banking, financial engineering and fraudulent banking by circle and zonal level officials to HO authorities there used to be suitable actions now such people are awarded ,appreciated, applauded by the Top https://t.co/QVDphvlQwQ these type of authorities are our role model .steep decline in our moral compass and this is alarming for any financial institutions.
Freedom of speech in India's banking sector is at risk. Bank managements weaponize transfers & disciplinary actions to silence officers, even forcing unfair practices for targets. With social media policies suppressing voices, many bankers stay undercover, especially in social media. If this continues, whistleblowers will vanish, making the system impermeable to CVC, Vigilance, and RBI oversight. Public money is at stake. Transparency will fade as officers are terrorized into silence. This needs urgent action!

Hello @canarabank
Instead of holding the senior officer accountable for humiliating and intimidating a fellow officer at 11 PM, the management is focused on finding who leaked the CCTV footage.

@nabilajamal_@ShobhaBJPOffice Bankers committed suicide and no one bats an eye.
Glad there are some citizens in India for whom people care.
I wish bankers would have got same attention like anna and many like anna would not had to go under such extreme pressure.
@Bankers_We It's unfortunate that abuse stands so normalised in banks that mainstream media doesn't find even a spate of suicides newsworthy. Here's hoping this changes!
5-Day Work Week: A Standard for Productivity, Growth & Efficiency and a norm for ethical workplace.
Across sectors globally, the 5-day work week boosts productivity, enhances efficiency, reduces work-related stress, and fosters growth.
In India -
✅ Central Govt. – 5 days week, Limited service alternatives on weekends
✅ State Govts.– 5 days week, Limited service alternatives on weekends
✅ RBI – 5 days week, Very few service alternatives on weekends
✅ LIC – 5 days week, Some service alternatives on weekends
✅ Courts – 5 days week, No alternatives on weekends
✅ Stock Exchange– 5 days week, Trading closed on weekends
✅ Most MNCs and private companies– 5 days week, limited work on weekends, barring some exceptions.
❌ Indian Banking Sector– 𝟱 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲s is still pending despite providing 𝟮𝟰𝘅𝟳 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 & digital 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀.
An agreement between the management of all Banks represented by IBA (Indian Banks Association) and employees unions has already been signed, and the IBA has recommended it to the government. Yet, the implementation remains pending.
Banking is a demanding & high-pressure service industry with long hours of work and zero tolerance for human errors. If any sector deserves a 5-day work week on priority, it’s banking.
Bank employees and their families fervently hope that this much-needed reform will be declared soon.
We urge the government @FinMinIndia, @PMOIndia, @DFS_India to prioritize this decision for the well-being of bank employees and to further enhance the banking sector’s efficiency.

I thought my story about insurance-bank-kickback had no impact. But now I see IndiaFirst Life Insurance employees taking sudden interest in me on LinkedIn.
On that note, here's my story about insurance firms bribing bank executives to force-sell policies: https://t.co/2FS3KQWyVg
