The banker assaulted at Khamgaon, Buldhana was not making government policy. He was only implementing it. Every farm loan, loan waiver, subsidy, DBT, and welfare scheme announced by the Central and State Governments ultimately reaches the public through a banker.

The policy is announced by @DFS_India @PMOIndia and @CMOMaharashtra. The credit goes to governments. But when anger erupts, the banker becomes the target.

This is not governance. This is shifting the cost of policy failures onto frontline bankers.

We urge @buldhanapolice1 to immediately arrest the culprit and ensure strict legal action. Violence against a public servant performing official duty cannot be tolerated.

A shocking incident occurred at the Central Bank branch in Khamgaon, Buldhana, where Amol Patil, District President of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana, physically assaulted Bank Manager Shivaji Kad. According to Patil, the assault took place after the manager allegedly gave evasive responses to farmers inquiring about loan waiver beneficiary lists. Following the altercation, Bank Manager Shivaji Kad filed a formal police complaint against Patil at the Khamgaon City Police Station, prompting an investigation.

Attacks on bankers are attacks on our financial system. Banks are meant to be safe places for employees and customers, not places where bankers fear for their safety.

How brutally this Govt is exploiting income tax payers. An example.

> Before 2017, there were no surcharge on Income upto 1 crore.
> Modi Govt reduced the limit and started surcharge from 50L onwards.
> So, taxpayers need to pay 10% extra tax on top of Income tax already paid and 4% cess.

In 2017 a rent of 2BHK in top cities were around 20K, now in 2026 it's somewhere 50K. The inflation has raised atleast 2-3x. 50L in 2017 is atleast 1.25cr in 2026 but surcharge limit isn't adjusted accordingly. It's still at 50L in 2026 which was 1cr before 2017 🥲

Count how badly and at how many levels this Govt is taxing us.

income tax -> then surcharge -> then health and education cess -> then exemption limit reduced to half -> then limit not adjusted to inflation -> then GST as you spend money.

With visible and invisible tax Govt tax atleast 6 times to income taxpayer for a single rupee earned and still give nothing in return.
