Echo of a dead star: what the Brain Nebula looks like 🧠
LBN 576, located in the constellation Cassiopeia, is a gas bubble left behind by a supernova explosion approximately 10,000 years ago.
Due to its extremely low brightness, this cosmic object long remained invisible to amateur telescopes; capturing a detailed image required a record-breaking 66 hours of exposure time 🔭
