Closing out a brutal September today. 🩸
Now the question is… will October become UPTober? 📈
A few themes I’m watching closely:
⚡ Energy / Nuclear
$AMZN just signed a 20-year nuclear power deal with $CEG.
🛡️ Drones / Defense
$ONDS stays on my radar as US spending on drones and counter-drone technology grows.
⛏️ Critical Minerals
The US continues to push for more domestic supply.
Watching $USAR $MP $LAC.
And some beaten-down names on my radar:
$TMUS
$MCD
$NFLX
$FICO
$APP
$VST
$UBER
$HDSN
September gave us the pain.
Hopefully October brings the green. 🐢💚📈
What are you watching for UPTober?
$MU just reported a huge quarter 🔥
Revenue: $54.2B
EPS: $33.42
Gross margin: 87%
And the guidance is even stronger:
Next quarter revenue expected around $61.5B.
AI demand for memory is still very strong.
Micron is not slowing down. 👀
Next rally might be due to physical AI
Box and @OpenAI are partnering to bring governed enterprise content to AI-powered legal work with Astra for Law and @ChatGPT. Legal skills built on Box and ChatGPT help law firms turn their content into practical, secure workflows without weakening the controls around it.
In this demo, a legal professional uses the new Outside Counsel Guidelines skill to review an incoming set of OCGs directly from Box. ChatGPT flags associated risks and leaves comments for human review, all without the content leaving Box.
OpenAI and Box are bringing your enterprise content directly into @ChatGPT.
As the file system for AI, Box provides headless access to enterprise context in ChatGPT while keeping the content managed, governed and protected by your existing Box permissions. Demo ↓
$OPEN generated $4.37B in revenue in FY2025.
Yet after today’s dip, its market cap is just $2.97B.
The market is clearly pricing in serious concerns about the business but the revenue-to-market-cap disconnect is hard to ignore.
Latest Q2 2026 quarterly revenue: $883M
• +23% QoQ
• -44% YoY
Volatility creates opportunity.
Every further dip? I’m looking at it as a potential buying opportunity. 👀

At Box, we’ve been testing Fable 5.1 in early release against our complex enterprise work eval. Fable 5.1 delivers a huge 7 percentage point jump over Fable 5 for unstructured data tasks in the enterprise.
On this updated test, we use the Box Agent with Fable 5.1 to work through a wide range of real world enterprise scenarios with documents in financial services, life sciences, the public sector, and more industries. All of these tasks require a high degree of analytical, math, logic, and domain knowledge to perform successfully.
Here are a few examples of wins:
* Financial Services (+17% improvement): on a tax-adjusted profit projection, Fable 5.1 correctly applies capital allowances before computing tax liability; this is a subtle ordering that Fable 5 misses, producing wrong figures all the way through retained earnings.
* Technology (+37% improvement): on a cost-optimization analysis where a key metric's normalization is ambiguous, Fable 5.1 recognized the ambiguity, computed both forms, and presented the correct one, where Fable 5 committed to the wrong normalization.
* Public Sector (+16% improvement): on an educational data analysis task, Fable 5.1 works through the full weighted-mean methodology and produces correct rankings, while Fable 5 miscategorizes one item and cascades errors through the whole sheet.
These are just a few of the wins we saw. Overall major jump in capability for long running agentic workflows in the enterprise.
Fable 5.1 will be available shortly in the Box AI Studio for building custom AI agents with enterprise content.
@krushiraj123@X@elonmusk@jack Good point, I did remember to tag Jack. Tagging two legends in a single post is disrespectful to each other. I chose to tag one. :)
Everyone saw the $45B headline today. Almost nobody is looking at who builds the plumbing.
Anthropic just committed $45B to rent compute from Nscale over six years.
To be clear, Nokia does not get a slice of that $45B. Most AI data center spend goes to GPUs, and Nvidia supplies the chips here.
So why am I still bullish?
Every GPU cluster needs a network underneath it. Switching, IP routing, optical. That layer is small next to the chips, but it is not optional, and it scales with every megawatt that gets built.
Nokia is Nscale’s preferred networking partner for their AI data center buildout, and also invested in their Series B. Supplier and shareholder.
The number that matters to me is not $45B. It is the EUR 2.8B in AI and cloud orders Nokia booked last quarter alone, with an order book pointing at 2027 and 2028. Real demand, already on the books.
This is a slow story. Nscale’s West Virginia capacity does not come online until late 2027.
That is exactly why I like it. Long-term hold, not a trade. $NOK

"Every enterprise on the planet is sitting on an incredible wealth of information."
$BTC is sitting right at 78-80K. This is the same resistance zone that has capped it for months. I am watching this closely.
Support is not one level for me. First layer is 70K. If that breaks, the real floor is 60K, the zone it already held twice this year.
September matters more than people realize. That is when the crypto clarity bill goes back to the Senate. If that and the tokenization trend do not build real momentum by then, I would not be surprised to see 60K again.
I am not predicting. I am just watching the levels and letting the market show its hand.

Most teams governing AI agents focus on what they can access. The harder problem is what they can do with it.
Box MCP Server admin controls let admins govern tool access enterprise-wide or per AI integration, set read-only or read-and-write permissions, and configure down to the individual tool level. When a tool is disabled, agents can no longer discover or invoke it. Enforced at runtime, not just at setup.
