you've heard about big data. but what about fake data? @tonicfakedata grew revenue 600% in 2020 selling it.
enjoy this thread on:
1. how an HBO intern accidentally sent an email to every subscriber
2. what the hell is fake data?
4. a VC sending a stupid tweet

An agency's product is "operationalized knowledge."
So when an agency is bad, it's because they either:
1. Aren't actually that rigorous about their pursuit of knowledge
2. Aren't actually that rigorous about their operationalization of it
3. Both
I've seen and been a part of great and terrible examples of both.
If you think "agencies are bad" or are just generally having a hard time with your agency relationships, try viewing it through this lens and ask, "Where is it going wrong?"
I.e. am I getting bad knowledge? Or am I getting bad operationalization of the knowledge?
And, critically, "is anything I'm doing getting in the way of the agency delivering operationalized knowledge?"
That's the path to great agency services and great agency relationships.
@jasonlk it seems like your main point is an AI SDR will answer technical / product questions better than a human SDR.
isn't that just a small part of what the SDR job is?
can't AI-generated answers to product questions just be fed to the SDR or used as a co-pilot on a call?
