The Domain Developer: My Journey

👨‍💻 Developer: Self-taught programming and started working as a developer in 2007.

🌐Hobby-Domainer: Began domaining as a hobby in 2009 due to my interest in brands and names.

🤑First Domain Sale: Sold my first domain in 2012 for $500 at Sedo, which changed everything.

👓Obsessed-Domainer: Invested all my earnings, managing 7800 domains at one point.

💡Lesson Learned: Lost much money and time with no good sales. Learned that "quality trumps quantity" and started learning more about domain investing.

📗Refinement: Dropped most domains and reduced my portfolio to 1500. Unfortunately, I realized I had also dropped many gems that are hard to acquire now in 2024.

🥰Fascination: Inspired by the opportunities high-value domains provide, I quit my 10-year developer career in 2017 to focus on developing my own domain names and ideas, becoming "The Domain Developer."

🤞Now: Since then, I have developed a few domain names into projects, sold a few for $300k in total, and dropped many. Right now, I am working on https://t.co/V8BogaFElj, a project that will benefit both me and other domain investors.
