Tomorrow night is the first total lunar eclipse of 2022! Total lunar eclipses take place when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are precisely aligned and Earth prevents sunlight from reaching the Moon. During the eclipse, viewable across the country, the Moon will appear orange-red.
