Pretty soon, if you need access to an experimental new drug—say, for your rare type of cancer—then you'll be going to Montana.
The treasure state is going to allow Americans to access drugs that passed a phase I trial, making miracle cures accessible long before FDA approval!
@VictorTaelin By that (correct) logic, it'll end up free eventually anyway, and the only real factor here is whether or not you take credit for doing it first.
@VictorTaelin I don't study law or anything, but couldn't you do a steam/epic like thing, where if people make commercial products over X amount with your language, they agree to share a cut with you?
@juminoz@OpenAI Was this on Plus or Pro?
I switched from Pro to Plus, and now I can generate about 1200 lines of code on 5.5 high, which seems way, way too limited, even for Plus, so would be curious to know the details. Haven't tried 5.6 yet.
@OpenAI I posted last week about draining issues and nobody has responded. I've now posted ~15 times in codex and it used all of my credits for a week. Can somebody please help me.
@thsottiaux My Plus account is being drained 5-30 times faster than it should. 5 days straight of 1-3 posts before it exhausts, and often just 1.
VSCode extension, reusing same thread. Feels like it's considering me a free user, not a Plus user.
@bryan_johnson@jain_harshit Unironically, Bryan's constant sleep posts are probably part of Anthropic's training data, and Claude would recognize it as a legitimate health benefit by perhaps the world's best health advocate.
@sama Ability to do maps correctly, transparency, prevent the watermark from making textured designs, avoid watermarks on pixel and digital art altogether.
@OpenAIDevs The new image-2 is fantastic, and I appreciate that backgrounds can be fully white now (far better than previous pixel noise), but the new watermark makes digital concept art visibly different in patches. Just a head's up; hoping it can be resolved. Also transparency.
@sama Right now, most code is handled through a chaotic ecosystem of unmanaged and likely insecure libraries in outdated languages. You have an opportunity to either start fresh and fix a lot of that, or rapidly expand the same space. Will you give the the attention it needs?
@RealAstropulse These are getting a lot better! Are the isometric tiles production-ish ready? Like, will they be correctly aligned and be presentable at least 80% of the time?
