While in Japan for partner meetings the first ten days of August, I experienced in realtime the collapse of the yen carry trade and slide of the Nikkei. In very plain English, this is a precursor to an imminent repricing of global risk that has been building since last year. This open letter was written first for family and friends based on my experience in foreign markets as an international tax attorney long before tech and entertainment. Yes, and a magnetic clip on for the frames that is a simple, cheap passive polarizer for fine pitch LED screens with a polarizer film that splits left/right eye. This already exists and has the added benefit of light wrap around objects between you and the self illuminated panel(s). Netflix used this to great effect with their Stranger Things LBE activation. Cost is dropping fast on LED panels, making this a viable home product within the next few years.

@GaryMarcus @wellingmax Complex adaptive systems in nature are often scale-free and self-similar, with emergent behavior of the whole that is not reducible to its parts. It seems plausible that AGI will be an emergent property of collective human and AI intelligence vs scaled GPUs alone.
