[ben hylak @benhylak]

today, we're excited to announce change reports.

@raindrop_ai watches every PR and sends you slack dm's on how your agent changes actually performed in production

The team wrote about why they’re starting with chemistry and how the labs and AI fit together. Read Warp’s manifesto here: https://t.co/yRpO60X1JA

[Scribble Ventures @ScribbleVC]

Congrats to @warpsciences on the launch and $215M in funding! They’re building U.S. chemistry labs, AI and robotics together to make the molecules drug researchers need to test. We’re proud to be investors in this team.

Today @dolapo and I are introducing Scuba, the shared context engine for teams and their agents.

Never lose a great idea. Capture anything, share what matters, and keep your people and agents aligned as you move faster together.

Everyone is moving faster on their own with AI. But so few teams feel they’re moving smarter together.

The models aren't intelligence bound anymore. They're context constrained.

Scuba is the shared memory your team has been missing. Put it to work in Slack, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any tool that supports MCP. We run our whole company on it, with under two hours of meetings a week.

We’re emerging out of stealth with $34M. We’re grateful to @accel for leading our pre-seed and co-leading our seed with @ivp, alongside @BoxGroup, @conviction, @homebrew, and @ScribbleVC. Our angels include the founders of Slack (@stewart @iamcal), Instagram (@mikeyk), Stripe (@patrickc), LinkedIn (@reidhoffman & Jeff Weiner), Salesforce (@parkerharris), Datadog (@oliveur), Vanta (@christinacaci), Harvey (@winstonweinberg), Dropbox (@drewhouston), Abridge (@ShivdevRao), Duolingo (@severinhacker), Granola (@cjpedregal), Warp (@zachlloydtweets), Zynga (@markpinc), Groupon (@andrewmason), Coda (@shishirmehrotra), Opendoor (@ericwu01), and Flatiron Health (@zachweinberg).

Drug discovery is where frontier AI can matter the most.

Today we're announcing @Chaidiscovery’s collaboration with @GSK, following a successful wet-lab evaluation of our models. Using Chai-3, @GSK found binders to every target tested.

AI is entering its proof-point phase.

FinalDose: We’re going to end cancer in the open

We plan to build FinalDose as public as we possibly can and write up as we go, including the parts that don’t survive! Please help spread the word:

Today, we’re launching an ambitious new school called The Horowitz Andreessen Academy.

Based in San Francisco, The Academy serves the most promising young high school graduates.

We think this can be an elite institution that attracts top tier talent. One that prepares students for the future rather than remaining stuck in the past.

The #1 goal is to help students learn to build, which is the most important skill in the AI era. They'll learn primarily by pursuing their own projects, either individually or in groups. There are classes and guest lectures, too, from some truly amazing people who have built modern-day Silicon Valley.

The Academy is designed as a network, since that’s the reason students go to school in the first place. Core to that network are our 10 Founding Partners: Anduril, Anthropic, Coinbase, Google, Meta, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Palantir, Replit, and Stripe. The network includes over 50 hiring partners and over 200 speakers and mentors. To join as a hiring partner or faculty member, you can apply on our website.

We raised $42M in funding led by @a16z. I'll be CEO and @pmarca and @eriktorenberg will join me on the board.

Applications are open for our Founding Class Fellowship, which will be one year and tuition-free. Eventually, pending regulatory approval, we plan to offer a two-year program that charges tuition, similar in cost to an elite private university.

We're looking for the most unusually ambitious young builders on the planet. Come join us in San Francisco:

Today, we are announcing our Series A and a new product: @raindrop_ai Simulations.

We've now raised $50m from @CRV and @lightspeedvp to protect the world from agent failures, big and small.

[AITAN @AITANsystems]

Our first ever tweet - and what better way to kick things off than with this:

Big news - AITAN is coming out of stealth!

We're excited to announce our $41M Series A, backed by @Deep33Ventures, @MichaelDell, @blingcapital, @gokulr, and @ScribbleVC - bringing total financing to $54M.

Our edge AI robotic weapon systems are combat proven: 500,000+ hours logged in the field, protecting the people who use them every day.

To the AITAN team: this milestone is yours. Every hour, every mission, every late night getting the tech right — that's your work.

This is just the beginning.

A few months ago, Google searches for the word "peptide" overtook "pickleball".

The tech community was early to the peptide wave, for good reason.

But what did Silicon Valley get wrong about peptides And what should everyone know about how they work best?

Sharing my @ScribbleVC "Call Notes" from a recent catchup with @Noho_Labs co-founders Dr. Tina Wu and @Mazzeo 👇.

Congrats to Scribble Ventures company @FSHTechnologies on their $25M Series A to make local government software that just works.

Their traction is impressive:
- each project on average directly impacts 57k+ people
- software distributed over $15.6M in grant funding
- serving cities and counties of Philadelphia, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Somerville, Eugene, Denver, Poughkeepsie, New York, Houston + more coming!

This is just the beginning of efficient gov't systems.

Meet mate - your AI growth teammate. @ScribbleVC company @UseMateAI just unveiled their b2b platform that drove over $94M in sales in the last 12mo for over 700+ brand partners like JD Sports, Brooklinen, and Favorite Daughter.

It sits on a live network of 12B+ shopper intent signals.

And it knows which of your customers are in-market right now, building campaigns to drive sales.

It's like Claude for your marketing team but with your own consumer distribution infrastructure.

Check it out --> https://t.co/GN4VseopkQ

[Rory Garton-Smith @rory_builds]

Meet mate, your AI growth teammate for marketers.

We spent the last 2 years in stealth building the hard part first: distribution. A live network of 12B+ shopper intent signals that tells us who’s actually in-market, right now.

Now mate puts AI on top of that network to find your customers and convert them.

It's like Claude for your marketing team but with our own consumer distribution infrastructure underneath.

We quietly signed 700 brands to the beta, drove $94.4 million in sales in 12 months for the likes of JD Sports, Brooklinen and Everlane, and are weeks away from crossing a $15M run rate.

Today, we’re thrilled to be opening the beta.

Drop a comment if you run an online store and we'll get you set up!

Congrats to @ScribbleVC company @smackaistack on their $61M Series B to accelerate their domain-specific AI models across the Joint Force.

From specialized models to tactical hardware, this is the team deploying real-world AI to the DoW that saves lives.

Built by soldiers, for soldiers.
@andymarkoff @Clint_Alanis

[Andy Markoff @andymarkoff]

I’m psyched to announce that Smack has raised a $61M Series B.

This funding accelerates our ability to ship domain-specific AI models that are actually relevant across the Joint Force in 2026, and to build the hardware to deploy it to the tactical edge.

I’m truly grateful for the investors, technologists, and warriors who have become Team Smack.

To @costanoavc and First In, thanks for doubling down on our merry band of psychopaths. Your support, along with @p72vc, @GeodesicCap, @NomiCapital, @felicis, @ScribbleVC, @fortitude_vc, @BloombergBeta, @PalumniVc, and Fulcrum VG supercharges our ability to deliver Decision Dominance to the DoW.

To our researchers and engineers, thanks for choosing to build here. Without you, Smack’s story would be Marines doing AI good. No one wants to hear that story. The late night breakthroughs amidst piles of Celsii are testaments to the fact that you are leading the charge on mission-driven AI. What you’ve built will save lives in combat.

To our warriors, thanks for continuing to serve. I’ve deployed to combat with many of you. It’s an honor to ride with you again. For those I haven’t, it’s an honor to serve with you now.

Together, we will become a new category of defense prime: built by warriors, for warriors.

[Kevin Weil 🇺🇸 @kevinweil]

This is spot on. It would be a shame if we get AGI for enterprise productivity and miss on AGI for scientific acceleration. Can't let it happen.

[Scribble Ventures @ScribbleVC]

Today, news broke about @ScribbleVC company @Whatnot's $545M Series G at a $20B valuation.

We've watched @GrantLaFontaine & @loganhead13 go from an early vision that started with Funko Pop sales to building a category-creating juggernaut.

They now dominate ~60% of a $22 billion market, with 650k new people joining the platform weekly.

A founder story only few can tell.

Congrats to Grant, Logan, and the entire team!

It's been astonishing to watch the @Whatnot team go from idea --> early product --> totally reengineering our relationship with online shopping.

This is a generation-defining company. We're infinitely proud to have backed them from early-on.

More than a startup, they started a movement.
