When everything you do becomes data-driven 😬 My list of books on hold from @chipublib #JustExcited #BookWorm

Hi @USEmbassyJordan, I have been trying to help my brother-in-law get an interview appointment for a student visa but for over a month there have been no appointments available. When do you anticipate there being appointments again? Is the embassy closed?

I think anyone who would boil down any profession to one aspect would certainly be misguided - that being said, I've found great value in @hackerrank and similar sites because they help me think of things in new ways (and they help with interviews!). To each their own ✌️

@seelinneacode @RichardW_Dev @UOS_Computing @30daysofcode @freeCodeCamp @hackerrank I've been in the industry for thirty years and frankly wouldn't touch @hackerrank with a ten foot pole. The problems are not representative of real issues in real projects and professional software development is much more than hacking together a cute algorithm. Misguided.

"If it works, I'm happy" isn't enough! I love this article about Big O: https://t.co/HhMA4nOOsn #bigO #womendevelopers

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@RichardW_Dev @UOS_Computing @30daysofcode @freeCodeCamp @hackerrank I did a coding bootcamp but I didn't find it that helpful. I do think @freeCodeCamp and @hackerrank were the way to go - I'm a software engineer now

Let's say myArray = [1,2,3,4,5] and we want to do a left rotation 2 times so that the result is [3,4,5,1,2]. How would you do it? My favorite was the Python solution 😍 (even though I did mine in JS)

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@RichardW_Dev @UOS_Computing @30daysofcode @freeCodeCamp @freeCodeCamp offers a great foundation for HTML, CSS, JS and more. @hackerrank lets you take tons of different algorithm challenges in almost whatever language you prefer. I would stay start with FCC and then move to a combo of that and HR.

Just solved a recursive factorial challenge for @hackerrank 30 days of code! https://t.co/SYHngjUgTC #womenintech

@Mrz_West16 @Orbitz At this point I'm stuck since I already paid, so just trying to get credit for another flight. But 100% I would never use @Orbitz again and I've been a customer since like 2014

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@Mrz_West16 @Orbitz That's so frustrating... I got a phone number I'd already called (that hung up on me) and a "well it works for us" and then ignored for 2 hours 🥲 like excuse me for trying to spend my money at your company lmao

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@BodyHeatLikeSel @Orbitz Same. I'm past the 4 hour mark and nothing.

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@virtualstuart @Orbitz @OrbitzCareTeam Yeah I did... this is absolute insanity! I just tried again and it hung up on me again. I'm ready to go back to analog and travel agents and 1995 🥲🥲🥲 #OrbitzSucks

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@Orbitz Hi, I've been talking to you all for 4 hours on DM and it's been about an hour since the last update! Any chance y'all could do some customer service and actually let me talk to a human? The phone tree keeps hanging up on me because my (canceled by you) reservation is in >10 days

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@Orbitz @BodyHeatLikeSel The same thing happened to me! @BodyHeatLikeSel did you ever get a human? I told the customer service on twitter how the phone robot keeps hanging up on me and they said "it's working on our end" 🧐 #horriblecustomerservice

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@Mrz_West16 @Orbitz I've been trying for 4 hours. Toll free number has hung up on me a million times. Did you ever get a human?

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@krista_barley @OrbitzCareTeam @tapairportugal @Orbitz @Expedia are you even able to get a human on the phone?

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@allycondie For real, the first article I read mentioned he was shot IN THE CHEST but nothing about his condition and I had to go search to find an update

[Linnea @seelinneacode]

@bitchcacia @hannahrimm Honestly there are a lot of men-focused series in existence. What makes @Refinery29 unique is the focus on women. Why wouldn’t the series be money diaries of women going back to school, or changing careers, or finding themselves homeschooling their kids in covid? Why overrep men?
