@LNER am travelling from Newcastle to Edinburgh today and was adbised by LNER website and staff there was no replacement services. After purchasing alternative tickets at cost of £107.60 we arrived to be told northern and transpennine railways would honour our original tickets!!
@sharonconnects Hi, Sharon. We do not have ticket acceptance in place with these operators. If they have told you this, it is on a case by case basis. If you have bought new tickets, you can claim back the money from the old ones. ^Steven
