I guess they’ll now start call ‘secession ‘ the “Massachusetts heresy.” Just threw off the tyranny of the Greatest empire on planet earth just so they could be forced to stay in a union during the Jefferson Asministration. No, it will remain a Southern heresy, but we’ll take it! It just won’t do to imagine that it was universally understood that the States created the Federal government and no one signed a sovereignty death warrant. Just as the abandoned the first American Constitution. The Articles of Confederation, why can’t they do with the second? It’s all so… plain to see, yet those without eyes, cannot see.
This is really good. If you agree, please pass it along. I believe the Lee referred to below had a famous son, but that’s probably lost cause mythology.
We’re not bots. You’ve just awakened the pro-Dixie contingent of X. We have names, blogs, podcasts, books, websites, foundations, businesses, and activist groups.
We are the proud defenders of a culture that existed before the inception of the USA, and which will outlive it.

@chas_swim_mom@chrishume_ It’s yes on both: Yes we #NeverForget bc the invasive Total War was “in the family” for all heritage Southerners, but also bc the occupation & Reconstruction of our homeland is ongoing. Reconciliation wasn’t the Grand Bargain; it was the grand bamboozle.

There's a lot of money behind the destruction of Confederate memorials. It's not just semi-literate blacks rampaging randomly on the streets. The people behind it are well-organized and well-funded.
@Steve_Boer1865@RichardBEsq We are not looking for converts. Just move along unless your people fought for the Lincoln’s Union and you have something to say about what your family did or did not fight for. Otherwise, we don’t care what you think you know.
In the South, reading is more than a pastime—it’s a sacred ritual of self-care. It’s a quiet moment to honor our heritage and find peace between the pages. ☕️📖
