We’re launching the Agora Conversational AI SDK, integrated with OpenAI’s Realtime API, to enable natural voice interaction with GPT-4.

Developers can now programmatically control the end-to-end transport of audio data as it flows from the user to the AI agent and back through OpenAI’s Realtime API.

OpenAI’s Realtime API supports both speech recognition and generation, allowing speech to be processed directly without conversion to text.

With Agora’s Conversational AI SDK, GPT-4 not only understands what you say, but how you say it. Our ultra-low latency approach means users can hear responses in ~200ms (well below the threshold for human speech perception).
