@jeffbigham I hope this 10x in productivity will enhance research quality (rigorousness and FAIR results/code) rather than quantity. Let LLMs help to document code and explore the effects of more coviates etc.
I think this will be best for scientific progress and the sanity of researchers.

🎉 Exciting news! Our manuscript introducing the connectome reconstruction toolbox CATO is now published in NeuroImage! 🧠🔬 Check out the paper here: https://t.co/P6fSnySD8Q
with @khelwegen and @martijnheuv
📝 In the paper, we provide a comprehensive overview of the reconstruction methods in CATO and calibrate its connectome reconstruction quality. Spoiler: CATO performs on par with other software, and the sensitivity vs. specificity trade-off depends on reconstruction parameters.

This update includes several new features and improvements, including:
- More functional connectivity measures.
- Compatible with FreeSurfer v7.
- A test framework for continuous integration.
- Various fixes and improvements, making the tool more user-friendly and efficient.
Two main messages: 1) combining genetic and neuroimaging data from the UK Biobank, we showed that healthy individuals with a higher genetic liability to SCZ and BP display lower levels of connectivity strength in brain circuits matching those involved in disease samples.
