@PrudentOD@LukeGromen If you can't win a war, you can't collect war time reparations. Do the soldiers continue to fight when their salary isn't worth enough to buy food due to constant printing to fund said wars? Who is paying the USG or USDF for these wars you don't win, last time was 1945, with help
@TryBeeMaps Seeing as how you've just dropped this on us, how do we link to our old account? How do we link the Bee to our wallet and will all tokens be paid in usdc now or still in honey? Some guide information beforehand wouldn't been great
It would be interesting to find out who or what business is buying our map consumption data, or what location they are buying... Is there any way to find this out as a mapper??
@Hivemapper@aseidman
I noticed we've had multiple bee software updates over the past week and a half but I've found my actual bee mapped amount drop by at least half for the same distance... Today I mapped 88MB rather than my usual 1GB trip, what's going on??
@Hivemapper
@TheZeitgeistNZ If the govt wanted to make NZ not worth Aussie bank's time, they would have Kiwibank drop rates to near 0% margins or fund at -ve rates. This drives home loans/home prices up, increasing asset value on collateral on case of foreclosures. Aus bank's leave and the market resets
@gigglenox@MikeySmithNZ Ah, someone has done their research on Fukushima, we would actually be better off with (U)SMR's because we have a well functioning grid, however it would help with our dry year storage for sure
@MikeySmithNZ That's what the NZ grid could handle, multiple (U)SMR's. Hydro units become peakers, solar/wind support the grid and fill batteries. Gas becomes less relevant. In fairness, subsidized rooftop solar would free up lots of power for commercial/industrial use and support businesses
@WalkerAmerica Scary is a very mild way of putting it Walker, but I'm glad you're family is on the mend. Wishing Carla a speedy recovery and a safe remainder of the pregnancy.
@GJtotheT@NicolaWillisMP@TheZeitgeistNZ How do you subsidise these industries when everything runs or depends on fuel? Engines don't eat money, people don't eat money
