@sethwbarton@github Agree. The industry is Morally at steam trains (cloud). Will move (back) to more secure personal compute, no need for rails and stations, and soon chips that run inference for a few (milli) watts.
@Melt_Dem Working on the inference/training chip that replaces the logical computer. Current paradigm burns cv^2 flipping bits to simulate intelligence. Ours uses physics to solve it instead at 10k less energy.
The Digital Inference age is about to die, and we have all the proof needed to short an entire sector of the economy. The Von Neumann tax, disguised as an
infrastructure bet that every VC and fund has on the books, is the wrong bet. A thread on what replaces it. @elonmusk@pmarca@SuryaGanguli
@ibab Prototyping and ideation combined with (python, lean, z3, spice) code feels right. Paper writing is no longer an obstacle— what is is actually knowing enough to know when its right or utter nonsense.
We’re facing a new era: the era of the shapeshifting Epstein coverup. As it happens, the Covid catastrophe was the best training one could hope for. If you’re still on board with the Covid orthodoxy, if you don’t know that the shots killed and caused a massive wave of cancer. If you still think Ivermectin didn’t work, or that lockdowns were intended to slow the spread, you’re a sitting duck for what’s next.
It’s time for a fresh sheet of paper. Find the ones who lost their livelihoods for telling the truth. Find the ones who were gaslit for discussing their injuries. Find the ones who lost someone to the shots. They can help you understand. They have been trying to wake you. Seek them out and listen.
We have faced this enemy already. We know something about it. Admit they played you, and join us.
@ibab Again Jared has likely taught it not to exclusively use Feynman calculus, but it’s interesting to think if it could come up with new results in Positive Grassmannian and the like. Like something that would impress Nima et al.
Tonight at the house: An intimate AI x Physics Dinner with Prof. Steve Hsu from Manifold @hsu_steve, Alex Morisse, @silkspaceships, Jasper @zjasper, and @jvnixon. We started off with Alex casually explaining the science behind his stealth deeptech start-up on physics textbooks. A thread on the important questions in AI X physics.🧵
@justin_hart Justin is a bot, right? Can anyone verify? If not, Justin, the ratio here seems to indicate a learning moment. Might be useful to read: https://t.co/2YpR60KsPq
Wolfram, your brain is not an ANN, its using quantum tunneling as an integral part of its behavior. No first order system like LLMs can do that. While well behaved (overfit) LLMs are amazing compressed representations, they can't access exponential sets of states like quantum systems, which some might say is consciousness.
Last Friday, I spoke at @cwclub about reviving the Pythagorean tradition, which means unity of math & music, yin & yang, Apollo & Dionysus. And to prove the point, we had a DJ dance party on the rooftop, which was a big success, see the video & a link to audio recording below. ⤵️⤵️
P.S. The video of my talk will appear soon.
@NathanWilbanks_@gregisenberg Neat. I built this too. A chat that builds workflows and I even made a Manim system. The collective consciousness is wild.
