11/12 years ago i used to teach @CryptoClass (currency and privacy) to journalists.
Keet is the app i wish existed back then.

I'm a cardiologist. I have spent twenty years watching cholesterol destroy arteries, trigger heart attacks, and kill people I care about.
Today, Eli Lilly presented data that may begin to end that era.
VERVE-102. A single infusion. One dose. It uses base editing to permanently turn off the PCSK9 gene in your liver.
Presented today at the European Atherosclerosis Society Congress:
88% reduction in PCSK9.
62% reduction in LDL cholesterol.
Sustained up to 18 months.
No treatment-related serious adverse events.
One infusion. Not daily pills you forget to take. Not monthly injections. One dose โ and your cholesterol may stay low for the rest of your life.
@ArkaSerezh It's because tfl sold the rights to run fibre through the tunnels to some hedge fund who want compensation before they'll allow wifi on the tube.
Australia has Australian of the year, but they should also have worst Australian of the year and give it to whoever negotiated away the Bluey rights to the bbc.
@MarcusHouse Yep, launch from west coast, land where the fuck you want mate, there's nothing out there, no boats needed. Lizards wont give a fuck about the noise.
As a startup founder and father of 2 young children, i've noticed the amount of time i get to play games exactly correlates with the time it takes to complete updating said games and process the shaders :-(.
I've realized that running local models scratches that Pokemon "gotta catch them all" itch.
I'm very happy with this catch. Actually useful, fast, free.
@ASvanevik haha, i had buyers remorse for ages after spending a grand to buy a 2nd 3090, and then 3 more grand to get a whole new computer that could host 2 at full speed.
It's only now that it's kind of worth it.
