@ceecuk The very fact that this motion has been presented shows how far we have come from believing in the authority of Scripture & the Bible being the inspired Word of God. If we accept this motion, we have also accepted the premise that the Bible can mean whatever I want it to mean.
One of the key lessons that disabled people learn is that people by and large don't care about accessibility issues until it impacts them personally.

It is truly humbling to see listeners still asking about Ukrainecast. I always knew ours was a particularly caring, big-hearted audience. Thank you.

The BBC stopped running regular episodes of the excellent #Ukrainecast just before Christmas. There have been no "pop-up" episodes to cover significant developments since.
Really stupid decision. It's not as if the war isn't ongoing...

Hi Victoria,
With so many significant events on the world's stage, many of us are wondering what's happened to Ukrainecast? There haven't been any episodes this year. Are you able to share with us what's happened? It's been such a brilliant series. Thank you
@charliebelllive@MikeStarkers To suggest that you can do this without breaking the canons is a falsehood, however 'consistent' you suggest it is. Not only that but you will be in breach of your ordination vows.
@lunamaud3@Psephizo@_F_B_G_@WalkerMarcus@simonsarmiento But thankfully it looks like they have come to the right conclusion. They were always going to have to grapple with Canon B2 eventually. It was unkind & misleading to suggest they wouldn't.
What does the House of Bishops' statement on marriage and sexuality mean? Is this the end of the Living and Love and Faith process? And where does this leave the Church of England? @_F_B_G_@WalkerMarcus@simonsarmiento

@SteveChalke God is holy, righteous & true. Ignoring the Scriptures & pretending that it doesn't matter is none of these things - and it most certainly isn't loving.
@TruthTeller_832@charliebelllive This isn't bullying. It's a realistic picture of the inevitable if the Bishops choose to pretend that Church doctrine is not at stake. As defenders of the faith they swore to protect the Gospel & its doctrine. If their consciences are fluid on this issue the law certainly isn't.
