NASA @EuropaClipper will soon blast off for Jupiter's moon Europa. On board is a special instrument developed @UTGeophysics@txgeosciences that will let it peer inside the icy world in search of life-supporting habitats!

⚡ Power move: @EuropaClipper's solar arrays flanking the body of the spacecraft have fully unfolded. This means that the spacecraft now has a reliable source of power for the rest of its journey to Jupiter and tour of the Jovian system! https://t.co/sEr1jgkbTt
🚀LAUNCH UPDATE!
NASA’s #EuropaClipper is now targeting NET Monday, Oct. 14 for launch!
@NASAKennedy is “all clear” after the storm and teams are moving forward with preparations for the mission to Jupiter’s icy moon Europa.

RIME & REASON: once at Jupiter, Juice and Europa Clipper will do complimentary and coordinated observations. Scientists from both @NASA and @ESA work on some of the respective spacecraft's science instruments, such as Juice's RIME and Europa Clipper's REASON radar experiments.
Did you know? Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, newly-announced running mate of @VP Harris, was the keynote speaker at our @EsriUC just last month??? Catch his super inspiring talk here:

A series of commands inadvertently sent to @NASAVoyager 2 spacecraft has caused its antenna to point 2 degrees away from Earth, creating a brief pause in communication with the spacecraft. After its next scheduled reset, the science team expects communications to resume: https://t.co/gsTIU0dK0F

we show that northwest greenland was ice-free for ~15ka about 400ka ago, which requires that the ice sheet contributed at minimum +1.4m to global sea level - and potentially much more. read more: https://t.co/pn8Vyg8xOF
