Words uttered: “If tomorrow YS Jagan Mohan Reddy says that your wives are not your wives, they would blindly believe it and even go to the extent of treating their own wives as sisters and shamelessly look for marriage alliances; such are the spineless leaders in the YSR Congress Party!”
These words were uttered by Vemuri Radha Krishna on ABN Channel. Using such repulsive language and dragging women into political discourse is not criticism; it is a disgraceful and demeaning attack on women that raises serious questions about the kind of partisan journalism being practiced.

We strongly condemn these remarks and emphasize that such statements are a deliberate attempt to insult women and distort public discourse. The real issue is that, unable to counter the “MAVIGUN” proposal politically, Chandrababu Naidu and his aligned media have resorted to diversion, misinformation, propaganda, and abuse.

We held peaceful protests demanding strict action against Radha Krishna and his unconditional apology. Despite such offensive remarks, our cadre showed restraint and did not resort to violence, demonstrating our commitment to democratic values.

Instead of condemning this disgusting narrative, @ncbn, @naralokesh, and @PawanKalyan backed and amplified these remarks. This reflects their clear misogynistic attitude. We demand immediate action against Radha Krishna and strongly condemn these leaders for supporting such a toxic and outrageous utterances.

మహిళలను ఉద్దేశించి ఇలాంటి అసహ్యకరమైన, దిగజారిన భాషను ఉపయోగించడం, వారిని రాజకీయ చర్చల్లోకి లాగడం విమర్శ కానే కాదు. ఆ వ్యాఖ్యలు మహిళలను అవమాన పరచడమే కాకుండా, వారిని కించపరిచేలా చేసిన దాడిగానే భావించాలి. ఎలాంటి వివక్ష పూరిత జర్నలిజం చేస్తున్నారన్నదానిపై ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు తీవ్రమైన ప్రశ్నలను లేవనెత్తుతున్నాయి.

ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలను తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తున్నాము. ఇవి మహిళలను అవమానించడానికే కాదు, ప్రజల్లో “MAVIGUN” ప్రతిపాదనపై జరుగుతున్న చర్చను దారి మళ్లించడానికి ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగా చేసిన ప్రయత్నం. “MAVIGUN” ప్రతిపాదనను రాజకీయంగా ఎదుర్కోలేక, చంద్రబాబు, ఆయనకు అనుకూలంగా ఉన్న మీడియా ప్రజల దృష్టిని మళ్లించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తోంది. దీంట్లో భాగంగా తప్పుడు ప్రచారాలు చేయడమే కాకుండా దూషణలకు కూడా దిగారు.

మేము శాంతియుతంగా నిరసనలు చేపట్టి, రాధాకృష్ణపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని, ఆయన క్షమాపణ చెప్పాలని డిమాండ్ చేశాము. ఇంత తీవ్రమైన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేసినప్పటికీ, మా నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు ఎక్కడా హింసకు పాల్పడకుండా, శాంతియుతంగా, ప్రజాస్వామ్య విలువలను కాపాడుతూ అత్యంత సంయమనంతో వ్యవహరించారు.

ఈ జుగుప్సాకర వ్యాఖ్యలను ఖండించకుండా, చంద్రబాబు, నారా లోకేష్‌, పవన్‌ కళ్యాణ్‌లు ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలకు మద్దతు ఇవ్వడం, మహిళల పట్ల వారికి ఉన్న అవమానకర ధోరణిని, ద్వేషభావాన్ని చూపిస్తోంది. రాధాకృష్ణపై తక్షణ చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నాము. బాధ్యతారహిత, విషపూరిత వ్యాఖ్యలను సమర్థించిన నాయకుల వైఖరిని మేము తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తున్నాం.

.@BugganaRaja counters TDP’s claims on GST growth, calls it an illusion caused by past underperformance

Tadepalli, August 5: Former Finance Minister and YSR Congress Party senior leader Buggana Rajendranath strongly criticised the TDP-led coalition’s claims on GST revenue growth in July 2025, stating that the numbers are being misrepresented to paint a false picture of economic success. He said the so-called growth is only due to the poor performance of the government itself in July 2024 and not because of any meaningful economic improvement.

In a statement released, Buggana pointed out that the year-on-year growth of 14% in GST revenues for July 2025 is misleading. “This increase is not the result of improved policies or better economic activity, but rather a result of the extremely low GST collections in July 2024,” he said. He attributed the poor collections last year to the TDP-led alliance government’s weak economic policies and lack of proper direction.

He said that when you compare the net GST revenues of Andhra Pradesh in July 2023 and July 2025, the growth is only 6.3% over a two-year period. Net GST collections were Rs. 2,755 crore in July 2023 and Rs. 2,930 crore in July 2025. “That means the actual year-on-year growth in 2025 is just 3.13%. Similarly, gross GST revenue growth is only 2.88%. These are very low figures,” he added.

Buggana said it is disappointing to see Mr. @naralokesh celebrating such a minor improvement and projecting it as a major economic success. “He claims Andhra Pradesh recorded the fastest GST growth rate among South Indian states. But he conveniently forgets that GST growth was negative in July 2024. So, this year’s rise looks high only because last year’s numbers were too low. This is called the base effect,” Buggana explained.

He reminded that GST collections are a clear indicator of consumption and investment in the state. If the state economy was truly growing at the rate claimed by Mr. Lokesh, the GST revenues would reflect that. “But the current growth shows the reality is far different from the claims. The state needs serious efforts to bring the economy back on track, not media shows and fake celebrations,” he said.

Buggana called the government’s behaviour irresponsible and said it is unfortunate that the TDP alliance is trying to gain political mileage from a growth that has no real strength. “Instead of accepting its failures and correcting them, the government is using the low numbers of the past to make current performance look better,” he said.

He urged the government to focus on real strategies that support investment, job creation, and overall economic revival rather than relying on shallow publicity.
