A weather event. Adiabatic cooling is a natural phenomenon where when gas is exposed to less pressure (ascending upward in a column of air) it cools at about 1.5 degrees C per 1000 feet. When it reaches the stratosphere, where airlines fly, It's about minus 60 degrees C outside. When air settles downward, it compresses and heats at approximately the same rate. So hot air that started its journey upward in the afternoon settles during evening cooling and arrives at the ground hotter than air that wasn't carried aloft.

My dad has spent the last 4 years getting his PhD while working two full time jobs. He did it because he didn’t want me to be the only Doctor in the family. At the age of 65, world, meet Dr. Emmanuel Uloko 😭 my father, my biggest cheerleader and who I compare every man to.
I’m finishing up my doctorate and I’m looking to hire someone who can compute effect size / Cohen’s d using SPSS. If you or someone you know help me out, please message me :-)
It's heartbreaking that someone like @jimcramer
can't own up to making a mistake. It's never ok to refer to someone as crazy and even repeating it for the sake of being "facetious" isn't ok! https://t.co/3clG3a17AM
