AI should earn its keep. Introducing the AI Productivity Guarantee.
If Devin delivers less engineering value than you’re paying for, Cognition will fund your usage until it does, up to $10 million.
It’s time for the AI industry to stop maximizing tokens and start maximizing productive output.
I'm hosting a Cognition Design x Research rooftop social during Config week with @silasalberti, our SVP of Research. We'll be engaging in a casual conversation with @3blue1brown focused on the artistry of mathematics, computation, and design.
Come for food and drinks, would love for you all to make it. See you Tuesday, June 23 at Cognition HQ in SF.
Cognition JapanのXアカウントを開始しました。国内展開を加速する私たちの最新アップデートを共有しますので、フォローをお願いします!
We have just started Cognition Japan X account. As we accelerate Japan expansion, we will share our latest updates through this channel!
Introducing Devin Desktop: the next generation of Windsurf
Manage fleets of local and cloud agents from one surface
Support for any ACP-compatible agent
With a full IDE for when you need to jump into the code
We've seen lots of enthusiasm for Devin's end-to-end testing capabilities in its virtual machine.
In this post, @ido_pesok shares the technical details behind how we implement testing for verification at scale.
If you're building your own cloud agent like Devin or Ramp Inspect, there's lots of great details here on setting up VMs, computer use, memory, and more. Fun deep dive with the creator of OpenInspect on what setting up a cloud agent entails

When we first built Devin, most people were skeptical about AI agents. I remember showing Devin to friends who thought it was a cool demo, but wouldn't be useful for any real applications.
Now Devin writes code for all sorts of companies, from huge enterprises to fast-moving startups.
This fundraise is a milestone, but it's just the beginning. We're still discovering new ways to integrate Devin in our own workflows and unlock even more possibilities in software engineering. If you're excited about the autonomous future, come build with us!
1/ We’ve raised over $1B at a $26B valuation, led by @Lux_Capital, @generalcatalyst, and @8vc.
Our enterprise usage has grown >10x since the start of this year, and our run-rate revenue grew to $492 M.
We launched Devin two years ago as the first AI software engineer. Since then, cloud agents have gone from niche to mainstream, and today they are the fastest growing way to create software.
Grateful for our customers, investors, partners, and most of all for our incredible team. Hard to believe it's only been two years.
Still a long way to go to build the future of software engineering - we are hard at work every day on making Devin even better! If you haven’t tried it in a bit, check it out and let us know what you think: https://t.co/1eSXfDfReg
Introducing Devin Auto-Triage: Your AI first-responder with long-term memory.
Devin can monitor incoming bugs, alerts, and incidents, investigate them, and come back with context, next steps, or a PR.
Devin can now build and run Android apps.
We added Android Virtual Device (AVD) support for Devin’s machine, which means Devin can now autonomously build, launch, and test Android apps.
Good old days: This was my daily POV when stepping out of my bedroom for the ~1.5 years we had our company house. It was nice to sleep in until 1 min before standup and I miss the 10 second daily commute of going down the stairs.
We loved the energy of "hanging out & working with your friends until late at night", so we tried to maintain it as long as we could. The company went through quite a journey while in the house - from our very first enterprise customer to 100M+ ARR and the Windsurf acquisition.
Near the end, we had 50+ people working from various rooms and it was getting a bit tight. Nostalgic memories - but I'm glad we've eventually grown up and moved to an office start of this year (the office is sick!)
You should work with people who are better than you conceive possible. Not only Scott, but several of the team members at Cognition have expanded my understanding of the skill ceiling
the inside story of the legendary Cog House.
i believe there have not been any public photos of this place until now (bc we were explicitly not allowed to lol)
as an advisor its been awe inspiring to see this company grow into a well oiled product and gtm machine that will be worth $100B by EOY (imo)
At some point as we grew, we set up tables, chairs, and a heater in the garage. So technically we would work out of a garage, though quite far from the Google/Apple experience I imagine
(dinners in the house were also quite special)
