Trust comes in many forms. Vouch uses Web of Trust for code contributors on Github. One more trust signal we'll include in WayID.

@badlogicgames built pi agent with care but drowned in AI-slop. The fix: web of trust. @mitchellh turned this into Vouch.

WayID will include Vouch as data source for agent trust score. Clankers aren't going away. We need trust rails for them.

Trust is contextual. Every trust mechanisms has trade-offs. The most robust trust systems combine mechanisms suitable for a specific context.

Paper by @helena__rong and @bah_eth proposes a six-model taxonomy for how AI agents should trust each other — Brief, Claim, Proof, Stake, Reputation, Constraint.

Google's A2A scores worst. ERC-8004 scores best. No protocol covers all six.

"Vibe coding menugen was exhilarating and fun escapade as a local demo, but a bit of a painful slog as a deployed, real app. Building a modern app is a bit like assembling IKEA future. We've all run into this issue when building with agents: you have to scurry off to establish accounts, clicking things in the browser as though it's the antediluvian days of 2023, in order to unblock its superintelligent progress.

So we decided to build Stripe Projects to help agents instantly provision services from the CLI.

For example, simply run:

$ stripe projects add posthog/analytics

And it'll create a PostHog account, get an API key, and (as needed) set up billing.
