@Matrix_B0SS What if it never converts? Or more realistically converts maybe 10-20% of it's pipeline within 5 years? And why build 100M capacity when foundries alledgedly already have 200M capacity for Sivers? I think it's because the foundries won't do Sivers lasers for years if ever.
@aleabitoreddit@wannabepanacea Yeah, keep on dreaming...... I think they are building in Glasgow because foundries aren't going produce anything for Sivers. Sivers have no orders to produce and the foundries won't be waiting for them. They might have an order by the time Glasgow is online mid 2028.
@aleabitoreddit But why build that now? Being a bit pessimistic it suggests they don't have any comittment from the foundries for any specific capacity even though they say 200M from them.
@revoAIution First, 15$ a laser is fantasy maybe per array of 8-16. Then you have yeild which will never be 100%. Second, they say Q4-2027 and 30M, more probably 2028 and 45M. Third why build if you already have 200M capacity thru foundries but NO ORDERS
@Simipandaface Haha, Enablance is a company with revenues in single digit MUSD with losses, ShunYuns homepage is not accessible, O-net hasn't published ANY news in 2026 at all. Another one of Sivers fantasic partnerships.
@softmaxedx Harish also dumped his entire Sivers holding this summer cashing in for approx 10MUSD. I guess he is confident the share won't get anywhere near the 7USD he managed to sell for any time soon.
@dubidubabap I see it the other way around, they emphasize that because it's the only thing they can do and it's not illegal. Nothing real will be presented only opportunities. If they had any orders we would already know unless one arrives today.
@Million_Sancet My prediction is that we will see really bad numbers except for that CEO's fantasy "opportunity pipeline" has grown by XX% and some vague comments about how well everything is proceeding without any real forecast about expected earnings any time soon.
@patrick12584085@revoAIution Exactly, not one order and no production line of any meaningfull capacity ready yet. The lasers aren't even qulified by anyone to actually be in any pluggable or cpo yet. It will be at least a year before any sizable order MIGHT be recieved for fotonics lasers.
@revoAIution But they are not supplying any lasers today, they MIGHT in the future and before we see any evidence of that Sivers market cap is way to high.
@CaesarCapitalz@DeepValueBagger They don't have 800M$ in deals, CEO has what he calls an opportunity pipeline (for both wireless and fotonics). If he can convert more than 20% of that he should be very happy.
@PepInvestStocks I don't know about the wireless part but you are greatly overestimating Sivers Fotonics, pretty much nothing is ready for delivery or even confirmed in any production line that can supply any volume. Sivers are at least a couple of years away from making any money on fotonics.
@AgAuElements I think you are a bit optimistic if you think Sivers can deliver any meaningfull volume soon (ie before 2028). Yes they have pratnerships with for fab-less but Glasgow won't get it done. I have also still to see any plugable or other device with Sivers in it for AI.
@Dmytro_Lebid@fiscal_ai Even if you are 100% correct none of this will happen within probably 18 months so Sivers market cap will do a nose dive first.
@revoAIution The stock is NOT beaten down, the spring euforia of 10$ stock was absurd. Nobody would be thinking it's undervalued at 3$ today if it had never reached fantasyland this spring. Top executives have sold 95% of their shares between 3-9$ so you all should know what they think.
@revoAIution Even if Sivers succeeds with most of your dreams the stock price will go alot lower before that. I don't think they will get anywhere near the marketshare everyone is hoping for eihter so the stock price will probably stay down there too.
