New research alert!! Interpersonal trauma exposure is associated with altered neural event segmentation mechanisms. Insights into trauma-related memory deficits and perception! @irosso@e_a_olson https://t.co/69q0APbJiT
One of the most important recent works in dMRI field by @Tim_Dyrby showing dMRI compared with microstructure.
A lot of insights into brain microstructure and macro structure. 👇🧠
A must read for those working on dMRI.

In my 2nd postdoc paper, we show that high-res diffusion imaging differentially explains age-related differences in white matter connectivity and gray matter microstructure than standard resolution. But, only high-res mediated cognitive decline in aging! https://t.co/U2XBZD3eRE

That’s a wrap for #HAI2023@HAIconference!
Grateful for the opportunity to share our new ultra-hi res diffusion MRI biomarker work, and learned from so many inspiring projects and discussions 🙌
Come #postdoc with me, @urrational and Julian Thayer on memory, reinforcement learning, anhedonia, early life adversity, and more. High res fMRI, dynamic connectivity, HRV and more! DM one of us for details. Pls RT!
So happy to share our work published in NeuroImage: Clinical!

Here’s a 🧵! (1/8)
This work completed with thanks to all of those involved @ucicnlm @LuisMColonPerez @myrasarai @anna_p_smith and many others!! And a huge thank you to @mike_yassa for your mentorship :)
Excited to announce two new publications utilizing high-res diffusion MRI targeted at the MTL. (1) We show high-res may outperform standard resolution in detecting subtle MTL differences. (2) We show evidence that structural connectivity of the MTL is reduced with aging.
Excited to announce to the Twitter world that I successfully defended my Dissertation on July 18th! Thank you @mike_yassa@YassaLab@ucicnlm for your incredible support for all of these years!!
I am absolutely thrilled to finally announce that I have accepted a post-doctoral position at @harvardmed & @McLeanHospital working with @irosso & @e_a_olson at the Center for Depression, Anxiety and Stress Research!! https://t.co/nCIPVwucG9
Excited to share our new manuscript on the impact of anxiety on emotional memory performance in a clinically assessed sample.
Thank you @mike_yassa, @sarah_kark, @JorenAdams and many others for your impact and mentorship on the project!
