Reminder that thanks to @ThamesWater's poor planning & @NewhamLondon chickening out of a road closure to make the diversion safe, 3,000 #Greenway users per day have been expected to contend with 9,000 motorists per day on a narrow bridge for almost 3 months. This is unacceptable.

Good news: Newham council have put up do not overtake cyclist signs on the road now at Greenway diversion.

Bad news: Every time you cycle on Abbey Rd - you're overtaken.

Awful news: What will happen unless serious measures are used as an alternative to this dangerous route.

From bad to worse! @NewhamLondon, amidst a budget crisis, may not be able to implement the ETMO to close Abbey Road until *late November* & have had to redirect funding to do so. That will be almost 3 FULL MONTHS of danger for #Greenway users. A total farce thanks to @ThamesWater
