A massive isometric pixel map of London, based on amazing NYC demo by @_coenen from 9 months ago
My agent created the dataset, finetuned qwen image LoRA adapter, did a multiday inference run and built an efficient tile viewer!
@Ccvcc435167@restingbilfface@HenryDel6 But the original poster doesn’t come across as needy, she comes across as interested and thoughtful. If he wanted to ask questions he would, he wouldn’t need to wait for the conversation to die a little.
@Ccvcc435167@restingbilfface@HenryDel6 But he wasn’t asking any questions at all? A conversation is a two way street. She was trying to keep the conversation going in the hope he might actually ask her something in return. If she didn’t, it’s clear the conversation would have just died.
I’m ALL for this as it’s so irritating and people seem to lack basic respect for their fellow passengers. But how is it going to be enforced? You’ve got people dodging fares by jumping barriers and people blatantly shoplifting in front of security guards and nothing is done 🤷♂️
Cannot believe the crazy price of @Myprotein! This protein powder is currently £32.99 for 900g. The very same product/quantity back in July cost me £29.74 and in April was £23.39. In Oct same product but 1kg was only £20.69! See attached. How can this be justified? @Myprotein_CS
@LesPiggypics@jet2tweets But all airlines are cashless now, no? It’s obviously an efficiency drive. Don’t understand the issue. Would you rather the cabin crew took longer to serve you because they’re having to faff about with notes and correct change for all passengers they’re serving?
Forget CPI. I prefer the Pret Meatball Index.
In 2020, Pret’s Swedish Meatball Hot Wrap cost £4.05 (source:Chat GPT)
Today I was asked to pay £7.30.
An 80% increase in six years.
Or more than 10% inflation compounded every year.
This is what inflation actually feels like.
In your lunch, your coffee, your train ticket, your insurance renewal, and your weekly shop.
It's yet another form of tax, and we're all getting poorer as a result.
@VinnieSull1van@Lost___London@BygoneBritain This is a fascinating watch! How much that area has completely changed in 40+ years. A shame the video doesn’t start a few seconds earlier, would have been good to see where my old office is where I worked from 2011-2018.
