I am making an urgent appeal to our elected representatives and concerned authorities to intervene immediately.
Our building is nearly 90 years old, and an occupant/tenant is carrying out unauthorised alterations that could seriously compromise its structural safety. The walls and structure are at risk of giving way, putting residents’ lives at serious risk.
Despite repeated complaints to the BMC, no effective action has been taken. The landlord has also failed to stop this dangerous activity. Even our local elected representative/corporator has not responded to our repeated appeals.
How long are residents expected to wait before someone gets hurt?
We are not asking for favours. We are asking the authorities to inspect the premises immediately, stop any unauthorised structural work and take necessary action before a tragedy occurs.
🙏 We request our local MLA, MP, municipal authorities, BMC officials and other concerned authorities to please listen and ACT NOW.

1st September and Mumbai gives us another exciting surprise!
Taxi fares up by ₹1, auto fares up by ₹2, and of course CNG prices have also gone up. But why should we, the lower-middle-class citizens, worry about such tiny details? After all, our daily battle for Roti, Kapda aur… Makhan is far more important.
₹1 here, ₹2 there, CNG up, groceries up… but don't worry, when added together it's still called “manageable” by people who don't manage our monthly budgets.
Just wondering… are there any lateral thinkers left in the system, or have we collectively accepted that for every question, the only answer is:
“Modi hai toh mumkin hai.” 🇮🇳🤷‍♂️
